EDGE Reveals New Uncharted 2 Info
As much as we can't stand EDGE, we have to admit, we're pretty damn envious that they got eyes-on time with Naughty Dog's hotly anticipated Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. The game took center-stage in the latest issue of the publication, and we've got a few new details due to that in-depth feature.
First off, we know a lot of you are a little concerned about all the stealth talk. It was earlier revealed that stealth would be a new element in this sequel, which caused some knee-jerk reactions from some gamers who immediately assumed the game would play more like Metal Gear Solid, or something. But this "stealth mechanic" is nothing like that; it won't change the basic gameplay foundation we had in the original Uncharted. According to the article, "stealth just gives you something more in the toolbox - another element, another choice that's available to you. Stealth or shooting - both choices are valid at any time." Secondly, we now hear that this next entry will focus a little more on Drake himself, who we learn can be "affable and charming" but can also be "a jerk." Well, we all have our little flaws, right? Thirdly and lastly, Nathan is not on a quest for Francis Drake; as some of you already know, he will focus on Marco Polo. On his journey back from visiting the court of Kublai Khan (son of Genghis, if you're wondering), Marco Polo's 600-man fleet shockingly dropped to around a dozen survivors...
So that's just a taste of what we have to look forward to towards the end of the year. We don't know about you, but we adored the original (shared Game of the Year honors in 2007 with God of War II) so of course, our expectations for the sequel are through the roof. And yet, we have confidence that Naughty Dog will deliver on all accounts!

1. ALWAYS AIM FOR THE HEAD: after some practice you'll never miss more than a few times before hitting a headshot. With a pistol it's almost too easy to score headshots. With an Rifle or the Uzi it's more difficult.
2. Use the shotguns, i tended to disregard them but those things are killer, even from somewhat long range.
3. Don't use cover unless you abslutely have too. If you just stand behind a wall or pillar (ie: don't hit circle) you can often times maneuver your character so that only one or two enemies are on screen and less of your body will be in the line of fire. If you can see the enemy while holding L1 to aim you can shoot him (even if the third person angle doesn't make sense). If you start taking damage get into cover so that they can't hit you then get out to shoot again.
4. Plan out your attacks. There are a lot of sequences where there are a certain number of enemies in an area. They almost always react in the same basic manner. If your plan goes wrong or it doesn't work, don't be afraid to die and try again.

"We've added a new feature inside Uncharted 2, which is the ability to stealthily approach combat scenarios," Straley explains. "We're definitely not trying to go for slow paced stealth, like Metal Gear Solid or Splinter Cell. The stealth is there to give you an option."
He even gives MGS as an example of something that they are definitely not going in the direction of and people still say 'OMGZ MGSUNCHARTED STUPID!!1"
I can't stand people.

Not gonna happen but how awesome would it be if there were a second campaign involving Nate and Elena (he does still "owe her a story"), that you could play through with a friend co-op?

@MetalHead08
To clarify, when u first go into the chapel(from the underground catacombs) there are 2 to 3 enemies u can ghost without alerting their fellow guards. Just wait and observe them 1st then on ur 2nd try...get stealthy. I can't give u any more clarification on the place in the jungle. It's after the plane crash. The same scene was in the demo.
If u plan on beating Uncharted on the hardest difficult I recommend you recognize and use these small stealth scenarios.
