Free Radical Future Still Uncertain
It wasn't exactly a happy holidays for developer Free Radical, which was forced to lay off 75% of its workforce and close down to enter administration in December. And right now, the future remains very hazy for the would-be creator of TimeSplitters 4.
Prior to this unfortunate occurrence, Free Radical had hinted at a Haze sequel, despite the failure of the original title. We also know they were working on the fourth installment in their well received TimeSplitters franchise, and that game may still have a future. At this point, it's all about generating interest from investors; if someone wants to pony up the cash, they could become Free Radical's knight in shining armor. Essentially, they're looking for a buyer and right now and the administration company - Resolve Partners - is issuing a plea to investors:
"We are inviting all interested parties to come forward. Significant interest has already been shown and we are hoping to make further announcements by the middle of January." (source- HEXUS.gaming)
The question is, who will be willing to take the chance this year? Haze turned out to be mediocre and sold very poorly, but at the same time, there are plenty of TS fans out there. Provided Free Radical does their job appropriately and TS4 turns out just as good if not better than prior installments, it should be a smash hit. But before that even has a chance of happening, they're gonna need some help...

I would be just as happy with a HD version of Future Perfect.
The LOCAL multiplayer was so fun. I don't like playing serious shooters with my friends. It's so much more fun when Edwina is getting chased down by a raging duck and a serial killer bear.
