Killzone 2 Euro Release Date Clarified
It's good to get official clarification, especially when the subject of debate involves the hottest game of 2009.
A few weeks ago, the rumors regarding the European release date for Killzone 2 began to circulate. It may have started with a typo that placed the launch date on February 6, which would've been much earlier than North America's confirmed February 27 date. Furthermore, considering that Guerilla is a European-based studio, and considering the beta hit Europe first, some sources concluded that a February 6 date might not be impossible. However, it was all rumor, and Sony has clarified with several sources - including GOONL!NE - that the game is set to release on February 25 for "Mainland Europe only" and in the UK on February 27, same as the U.S. So yes, Europe does get it a couple of days earlier, but apparently, the UK doesn't count. As it stands, Killzone 2 will release at about the same time in both major regions, so don't pay any attention to the rumors that continue to zip around the Internet. Unfortunately, fellow Euro gamers, you won't be getting KZ2 a good three weeks before us...although you might deserve some special treatment after years of being ignored, right?
Anyway, the early days of 2009 continue to slip by at an alarming rate (has anyone else noticed?), which is actually good news, 'cuz it brings us closer to KZ2. When we call it a "defining experience," we mean it.

Ireland is not part of the UK you ill educated, pompus little Brit. Northern Ireland is part of the UK, so when referring to Ireland, refer to it as the independent republic it is, and never associate it with your colonian little monarchy comprising of Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and England.

If it is, it will be even longer than the wait we had for Resistance 2, which was nearly 25 days (I forgot).
LOL you Americans and Europeans thought you sometimes got stupid release dates but 'most' of the time Oceania territories take it 1 step further.. in a bad way xD
