EA On Red Alert 3 PS3: "It Just Took Longer To Complete"
EA has recently announced Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3: The Ultimate Edition for the PlayStation 3, and many RTS fans rolled their eyes to the heavens and said, "finally!" After all, the saga of the PS3 version was a long and tedious one; canceled, delayed, non-existent...okay, what's the status now? Well, would you like to know why?
According to CVG, it's simple- they just announced the game too early. EALA senior producer Amer Ajami said they "just announced it too soon" and "it just took longer" to complete the game for Sony's machine. The good news is that, although PS3 owners certainly had to wait a lot longer than 360 and PC users, The Ultimate Edition is called "Ultimate" for a reason. The game will boast all sorts of platform-exclusive content, including five new multiplayer maps. And for all you strategy buffs, the extra content won't end there, as the freshly announced Red Alert 3 expansion pack for PC should also come to consoles in the near future. Said Ajami: "We probably won't release it as a retail release. If we do decide to do it for 360 or PS3 it'll be as a piece of DLC. But again, that decision has yet to be determined." So there you have it. What does Occam's Razor say? That all things being equal, the simplest explanation is usually the correct one? Well, perhaps the simplest explanation for the ongoing Red Alert 3 PS3 saga really is this simple: they announced it too early.
On the other hand...how come we still saw evidence of possible cancellation at certain points? And how come this reason - "just taking longer on the PS3" - didn't sprout up earlier? Eh, we won't dissect it too much. Let's just say that this March, RTS lovers are in for a real treat, and yes, it is indeed finally coming to the PS3.

My comment also states fact yes we all know that.
But being real isn't something xbox owners are open to.I got my ps3 then my 360,Xbox is a cool system but pride for your decision is hard for most people to give up.Those people that only have an xbox.
My hostility is to the ignorance that's so blissful in these times. Only the one's that can't get both talk trash.I'm so tired of the
bogus comments ps3 has no games."THAT IS NO LONGER A VALID STATEMENT".
There only six exclusive for the 360 maybe eight. And everything else is an shitty port.
PS3 has more than twenty exclusive's.
Yes the xbox 369 sell more but ps3's software sales is still higher.
