Home To Receive SFIV, RE5 Updates
We're willing to bet that for every major software release on the PlayStation 3, there will be some reflection of that event in PlayStation Home. According to Andriasang.com, Sony is gearing up to celebrate the impending launches of Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil 5 by releasing all sorts of new game-themed goodies for Home.
First of all, both of the aforementioned blockbusters will support the option within Home to meet with friends and immediately kick off matches and online co-op play. The only difference is that this functionality will be available at the time of the RE5 launch, but won't show up for SFIV until a future update drops (presumably not long after the February 17 release date). In addition, the new items and lounges are headed our way as well: RE5 will get its own lounge; it will be based on Kijuju, of course. Special items will show up in the stores for both games, as Capcom is preparing a set of costumes that let you dress your avatar up as a popular fighter from the long-running series. As you can see in this picture here, the guys can run around as Ryu or Ken, and the girls can slide into a Chun-Li costume...or maybe the guys will wear the Chun-Li costume? It's the Internet, so who knows what people will do?
Anyway, this hasn't been officially confirmed for the North American version of PlayStation Home, but that announcement will probably show up soon. If a big game release is on the horizon, you can expect to see new additions to Home, and we certainly aren't going to complain. For more pictures, head on over to Andriasang; you can see more SFIV stuff and the RE5 lounge.

Anyone ever seen the movie "Gotcha"? Came out in the mid 80s. About college kids playing an on campus game of assassination with paintball guns. Pick a name and that your target.
I'm no programmer and it may be impossible, but wouldn't that be a cool scenerio with Home. Join a group, get assigned a name and you have to hunt the entirety of Home to find that person. I know, I know, how do you differentiate between regular peeps and players? Well, isn't collision detection basically turned off so people can't block doors and such? Can't it be made that players get tagged with some sort of friendly fire. Other games do it with NPCs.
I don't know. I'm babbling now. I just want more from Home. It has the potential and I'm impatient and want more than costumes and lounges.
