Prototype Set For Release In June
Up until now, we really had no idea when Prototype was scheduled to release. But now, it appears it may be dropping sooner than expected, which is good news for action fans.
According to Joystiq, the estimated release date was hidden in a New York Comic Con invitation from Activision, which first announced a hands-on presentation of the game at the upcoming event. Then, quite simply, it said Prototype is "planned for release in June," which is only five short months away. From what we've seen of the game so far, it could be one of the most intense, brutal and atmospheric experiences of the new generation. We've accumulated some very cool videos of this game over the past year or so, and you've gotta check 'em out: there's the developer interview, which shows off powers, weapons and combat (dude just got ripped in half!), a New York City Developer Diary from GDC 2008, and the latest Reveal Trailer that just became available at the start of 2009. After watching all this, you should be pretty pumped about the game's potential; I know we are. Killzone 2 may rule the roost now, but we could always use an in-your-face third-person action/adventure title, right?
Hopefully, we'll get a solidified release date soon, but for now, just be happy it's scheduled for June. If it does launch then, it will finally be time to take down attack helicopters using only our crazy inherent skills!

Yeah man, both games share some similarities. As I stated before, infamous will be bombarded with low scores (-1 point for being exclusive to PS3) and Prototype will get a solid 9.
I really hope both games doing real good, specially Infamous. Sucker Punch is putting a lot of time and resources on this one. Is comforting to see a big company like Sony pushing new IPs out at this rate.
These come to mind:
Insomniac --> Resistance
ND --> Uncharted
Sucker Punch --> Infamous
off topic, Tried RE5 demo. It feels like RE4+some new moves and a partner that is always in your way. Graphics are beautiful but not mind-blowing. Seems a more action oriented than horror survival game. I am not forking 60$ for this, I will wait for a 40$ price.
