Another Add-On Pack For Paradise: Cops And Robbers

Burnout Paradise is like the Energizer bunny of racing games...it just keeps going and going and going...

Amazingly enough, as if all the DLC and extra packs for this great racing title didn't quench your thirst for intense high-speed fun, Criterion has revealed yet another add-on pack. Yep, it's true. After we get the previously announced Party Pack, Legendary Cars, Toy Cars and Boost add-ons, they will provide us with a new "Cops and Robbers Pack," which is pretty much what it sounds like. As the developer announced via their Criterion Games Network, this pack is "dedicated to bringing the thrills and spills of cops and robbers car chases in Paradise City." Burnout 2: Point of Impact had cop chases but they didn't make their way into Takedown or Revenge, and they initially weren't in the original incarnation of Paradise. ...but then again, considering the number of updates that have arrived over the last year, what was in the original box? I mean, this is just getting silly. It's as if they're creating a whole new sequel within the world generated by the initial title.

Criterion will post up new Cops and Robbers screenshots on Monday, and if you don't already own Burnout Paradise, remember that you can pick it up on the PSN for only $29.99. That's one hell of a deal; you could spend the next 78 years downloading all the extra content for it, though.

Cool. I really hope sales of the game pick up. I'm really happy about the restart option. I've been tired of cops chases some NFS titles ago but a good edition nonetheless.

Will this game ever end? There is so much to do in this game.

lol first the party pack now Cops & Robbers (pursuit) shouldn't this be free. The other packs should be premium but old game modes hell no

I hate when u have to buy add-ons to get all the trophies for a game, like burnouts party pack. Oh well, i'll get over it.

This game is the best racer on ps3 after motorstorm. and whilst were on topic of racers, the 360ers have a new exclusive racing title and it sounds epic. Race Pro, great selection of cars and modes. GT5 best be good coz race pro sounds awesome.

why does everyone keep banging on about this game and all the dlc which really doesn't do much at all. The party pack is awful. Its basically just a new menu. Its pass the pad, not even split screen! the bikes patch was stupid, theres no advantage to them at all and they have been implemented poorly. All the dlc just seems to be doing is putting pressure off of criterion to make a new game. Gah.

The only other game that had alot of DLC was Folklore. I enjoy both these games. I own BP and GT as a download.

If i remember the DEVS said they will keep adding onto this game till who knows. they said why put out a whole new game when they can just keep updating the current game with new content all the time.

i think they had talked about it sometime last year on the US PS blog.

i played it pretty steady when it first came out on 360 and then traded it and then rented it again when they added the bikes for the PS3. The bikes didn't impress me enough to make me rebuy it again. Funny enough I still own my copy of Revenge whice I think was the best one. I thought MotorStorm was awesome for an off road racer, strangely as much as I liked the 1st I still haven't played the 2nd one.

i should go buy a PSN card now to go buy the Party Pack. i love this game. i probably put the most hours into this game out of all of my PS3 games. and i have 15 PS3 games.

Here in South africa we will be receiving burnout ultimate box for around $40 and it wil come with all of addons up to party mode. I personally dont like dlc content that makes the original game look like a demo.

I have to agree here.
The bike pack was good and all but it really didn't do anything but made it seem like you were running around the city on a bike.
Driving from one point to another is great but not all the time. They didn't make them like the cars.

I wish they would focus more on a sequel for this then DLC. Because it seems like they would have more time to develop the content more then they do with the DLC.

Criterion is just making new DLC worse. The new update has bilboards, smashes and superjumps everything flashy now. And cars are slower. It's just as they making game easier and easier. It was all the fun finding those things in original BP.
Speaking of which - I need help. Do you know if I can somehow download JUST Cagney Update alone? When I'm connecting my ps3 to internet it starts to download every update avaiable. But I don't wanna Bikes Pack (I didn't like that blast fog - and you can't swich it off)or any other, just Cagney for the custom soundtrack. Can I do that?
