Dead Rising 2 Confirmed For PS3
It didn't take long to verify if that supposedly leaked teaser trailer was legit, as today's announcement has quickly clarified everything.
According to D+PAD, Capcom has finally confirmed that Dead Rising 2 is currently in development for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The sequel to the popular zombie slaying extravaganza - which wasn't available on the PS3, as most of you know - will indeed utilize a Las Vegas-like setting: Fortune City will be the undead's home, and it'll be up to you to eliminate the threat. One of the original's most appealing features was the ability to use just about anything you could find to smash zombies, and considering you were in a mall, there were literally hundreds of experimental make-shift weapons. Fortune City should offer something similar, and we can't wait to dive into the bloody goodness. Capcom has teamed up with Blue Castle Games to work on Dead Rising 2, and many members of the original team will stay on, including Capcom's global head of research and development, Keiji Inafune. He will be the game's producer. As for more in the way of details, we can expect those to arrive in due time, and we'll also hope for an estimated release date.
At this point, it's just good news to know that the sequel is indeed headed to the PS3. There was talk of porting the first title over to Sony's machine, but it got to a point where all we wanted was the sequel...and now we have it. Yay! Capcom certainly wasn't lying about their commitment to multiplatform production, huh?.

I was shell-shocked was shocked to see it's flame out, ejecting it right into the aggressor's HQ.
But, I have complete confidence that our wingmen will indeed re-set it's navigation system, enabling all future flights to hone right back to our force's homebase).

I remember playing this game at a friend's house
(who now has a ps3 because of me woot! Jus spreadin' the word of the gaming gods man- they call him Kratos, by the way as he's expanding into areas other than 'War' now) and I used a scythe like weapon, and the animation for jabbing it in their necks, stepping over the weapon and yanking the head clean off was truly inspiring! (In game animation ways- not murderous ones)

For example(a bit off topic about which game console, but), just look at their humongus monstor 2-pieced simululator/controller that came around 1999-2000, but made only for the Xbox!
It consists of a 3-block cockpit controller with 2 joysticks, 40 functioning back-lit buttons, toggle switches, etc, & a separate floor block with 3 huge foot pedals.
Capcom put out this controller out to make for an entirely brand new virtual experience in the mech war VT(virtual tank) game, "Steel Battalion" series.
Damn, whenever I go play it, I'm still amazed at the detailed workmanship & all that it does(I have the rare blue button model(green buttoned one was the norm).
For those who've never saw it, or hadn't the chance to play it(since it was retailed at around $200 & up), here's some good info on it

The game is so open minded that you could just kill zombies without even attempting to play through the game, much like grand theft auto. You'd think killing the zombies would get old...boy are you mistaken. The only thing I'd want included in the sequel is co-op split screen, better ally A.I., and more prominent save points.
