SCEA Ushers In "PSN Spring Fever"
Can you smell it? It...it's Spring Fever! ...okay, we're jumping the gun a little, but Sony doesn't seem to think so. And based on what they've got on tap for the PSN, you should probably catch a whiff of something sweet.
SCEA has announced their "PlayStation Network Spring Fever" collection, which celebrates "exceptional games and content releasing on the PlayStation Store leading into Spring." Over the next few months, you will be able to enjoy everything from today's launch of Flower to future titles like No Gravity for the PSP. As of right now, there are already 164 games available for download on the PSN (about 45% of which are exclusive to the U.S.), and as an added bonus, the official PlayStation blog will boast all sorts of great behind-the-scenes stuff, like interviews and fresh info for the hottest new titles. Getting back to the Store, it will have a dedicated "PSN Spring Fever" section for you to open and peruse, so there's more incentive than ever to log on to the free service. Here's a sampling of what you can expect:
- Noby Noby Boy
- No Gravity
- Wheel of Fortune
- Burn Zombie Burn
- Ragdoll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic
- The Punisher: No Mercy
- Bomberman Ultra
- Comet Crash
- Zen Pinball
And it won't end there. If you haven't caught spring fever just yet, you will; just jump onto the Store and sort through the huge amount of content that's available. If you're looking for ways to cut down on costs, this is a great way to nab some satisfying entertainment for excellent budget prices.
