The Capcom Unity Card Now Available
Did you pick up that PlayStation credit card last year? If you did it before December 31, they tossed you $150 off the purchase of a new PlayStation 3, you know. But if that didn't float your boat, and you still want some game-branded plastic, Capcom has you covered.
Here they are: Capcom's branded, pre-paid Visa cards. The first batch will boast images from Street Fighter IV, Resident Evil 5, and Bionic Commando. It's called the Capcom Unity Card, and it should be available today, February 17...gee, I wonder why? Now, you always get cool incentives for picking up cards, and the immediate benefit of the Capcom Unity Card is the 15% discount off any purchases made with the card on Capcom's online store. See, this is not a credit card: for every dollar added to these "rechargeable" cards, you will receive five Capcom Unity Points, which can be redeemed at the Capcom Unity website. If you want to learn more about the card, go right ahead; it's a pretty cool concept. There are gonna be raffles, auctions, "a larger suite of rewards," and "exclusive access" to things like beta/demo programs. Another interesting tidbit: if you get the card, you can actually send money to other people's cards online. Obviously, this works best if you're a veteran fan of the publisher and intend to frequent Capcom's online store.
And yes, Street Fighter IV launches today. So if you're a fighting fan and it's not on your list of "must-buys," we ask you to check your pulse.

(good job)
Anyways, if anyone wants to see all the pictures of these available cards, I just finished putting an article about this over in our forum. Just look in the "Gaming Discussions folder.
(BTW, I've just posted about 18 other articles on the form too, some are in the PS3, PSP, off-topic & X-box folders)
