European PSN Finally Receiving Street Fighter II HD Remix
Every once in a while, we like to provide our European gaming buddies with some good news. Over the past few decades, they often got the short end of the stick so we can understand if they're a little bitter, but the worldwide scope of gaming has changed things. Getting something awesome a little late is better than never getting it at all!
First of all, PAL territories are only a few days behind on the Street Fighter IV launch. Here in North America, the excellent fighter shipped yesterday and should be on store shelves around the country today; in Europe, it ships this Friday. But there's something else the European PlayStation Store doesn't have...it's Street Fighter II HD Remix, which fans of the series have been anxiously anticipating for quite some time. Apparently, according The Gaming Site, Capcom has confirmed that it will finally arrive on the Euro PSN this Thurday (tomorrow). The price will be £11.99 or 14.99 Euros and for the die-hards who absolutely must have everything Street Fighter, it's a no-brainer purchase. Considering this is a remake of the original SFII, widely considered to be one of the best titles in video game history, your interest level should be high. Really, all Capcom did is make a classic fighter even better, and for such an agreeable price, you can relive the glory days with a boost from next-gen technology.
The day after you download it, you can start calling around to stores to see if they have SFIV in stock yet. Hell, you could go downright SF crazy this weekend.

Just joined up to say, and pardon my french, but WHAT A F*%KING JOKE!! I'm from Australia and our PSN store is part of the Euro server, so we've had wait for this title for a while now to. But the fact that they decide to release it now SF4 is avalible feels like a kick to the face. Its like "oh here you are my little peons, you can have it now". What i want to now is where was it months ago and WHY? Sorry for the rant, but it really pisses me off.

Is this true??? Am I really one of the only people that didn't really like SF that much?
I always preferred MK back in the day anyway and virtua fighter. I remember that I lost a small fortune to VF in arcades when 2 came out I believe it was. I played as Kage-Maru so much that I was unstoppable when a challenger walked up and wanted to go a round.
On the SF side I played it once or twice with my cousin on the console and I played some of the arcade machines but I just never really liked it. I mean I do realize that it was one of the first fighters out there that grabbed the limelight but I just thought there were so many better ones that have all but disappeared. Killer Instinct, Samurai Shodown, Eternal Champions was the jam!
