MGO Scene Expansion Details: Raiden And Vamp Playable
If you've been an active Metal Gear Online player since last year, you've probably been anxiously anticipating the next expansion pack. There have already been two, which have greatly enhanced the multiplayer experience, and the third will also make significant additions.
Recently revealed in the latest Famitsu, the third DLC pack is called "Scene," and will feature more characters from Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots plus new map locales. The characters will get the most attention: both Raiden and Vamp will become playable in MGO with the Scene expansion, which should come as great news to fans of the MGS universe. As for the new territories, we'll receive "Hazard House," "Outer Outlet," and "Ravaged Riverfront." The latter is pretty much what it sounds like, Outer Outlet is a shopping arcade, and Hazard House is a countryside manor. Now, obviously, these details are only solidified for the Japanese release, although we don't really expect anything different when Scene arrives in North America. Both the Gene and Meme expansions delivered the same content to Japan and the U.S., after all. If you haven't had the chance to try MGO, you really need to log in and experiment; many of the long-time fans have been clamoring for online multiplayer for years. Konami delivered, so why ignore it?
Hopefully, we'll get the official information for this region at some point. The mere fact that Scene brings in Raiden and Vamp should be enough to intrigue you, right?
