Bioshock 2 Mystery: "Whatever It Is, It's Taking Our Daughters"
Bioshock 2: Sea of Dreams has yet to have an official unveiling, but considering the teaser site has already been updated with more content, we imagine the announcement is very near.
SomethingInTheSea.com has some new evidence to sort through, and if you're a fan of creepy, intriguing storylines, we suggest you take a few minutes and examine the added scraps of paper. The plot is beginning to take shape: clearly, there have been reports of a "glowing red light" in the sea, spotted by more than a few witnesses. There's a picture of a fishing vessel with the red light beneath the waters, and it says the light is moving at 30 knots. Some are calling it the "UFO" of the sea, and there are more reports of missing children; young girls, specifically. One report denounces the phenomenon as a hoax, but a hand-written note beside the newspaper article says, "Whatever it is, it's taking our daughters." If you include this with the previous evidence of footprints in the sand - the size and shape of which might actually indicate the existence of female Big Daddies (Big Mommies?) - the storyline suddenly becomes borderline survival/horror-ish in nature. Remember, one of Bioshock's biggest strengths was its plot, and we're expecting an even more engrossing story in Sea of Dreams. The more we see, the more excited we become!
Hopefully, 2K will announce the game and give us all the early details within the next few weeks. Provided it does make it to store shelves later this year, Bioshock 2 will be a highly sought-after holiday release!

On half.com, it goes for $27 used, $34 new.
I picked it up for $20 at best buy a few weeks ago when 2k had their $10 off coupon.
