The Pornstar And The Gaming Nerd: A Match Made In Heaven?
StoyaAs much as we often want to give life to our fantasies by rationalizing and entertaining interesting theories, we should probably acknowledge the fact that pornstars and gaming nerds aren't exactly like peanut butter and jelly. Even so, there's nothing wrong with entertaining interesting theories, per se... Just ask Stoya.
Recently interviewed by DasGamer, the 22-year-old adult film star says that a gaming nerd is "her kind of guy," and it's probably because she's a gamer herself. When asked what video games she first played, she cited Heroes of Might and Magic and Civilization, and she even said she thought the latter franchise "went downhill" once Sid Meier jumped ship (sounds like an informed individual, yes?). Stoya doesn't talk about the sexiest video game vixens 'cuz she never played any games with vixens, and in our mind, that only amps up her "nerd" meter. Then they asked her what the industry should do to appeal to more female gamers, and the answer was interesting: basically, if the "chick likes blowing the heads off of invading CGI troops or playing heavy strategy games," then she'll be a gamer. If she's not into that stuff, "no amount of bunnies and hearts is going to change that fact." We always wondered if the ladies would feel insulted by games "designed" for them that are all fluffy and cuddly. It seems to us that Stoya wants to blow sh** up, and no, we're not going to use the word "blow" in any sort of clever play on words. We're just...we're just not.

Anyway,one of my worries about porn is.....
Aren't you scared u might see one of the bad asses u dated back in the day in a porn flick someday?

I tried for years to date women that were not into gaming at all. It always felt like I was either hiding the full extent of my gaming from them, or they were trying to intervene in my hobby negatively. It was demeaning and until I met my wife, I was sure unfairly hard on myself over it.
Like being in the closet or hiding a drug habit, heh.

Sure, blowing stuff up is great, but who here loves games like Zelda? Little Big Planet? You get the idea.
My favorite games are always the ones with beautiful visuals, and thought provoking stories behind them (or games that have a great sense of humor)... and in my opinion, there aren't enough of these.
Maybe I'm just hoping for something that will never exist, but I can always dream.

To me that sounds like you would prffer a Wii, Zelda clearly becuase its a Nintendo company game and lets face it LBP would sell better on the Wii. So enough with thoughs absurd accusations, next you'll probaly be saying im racist ............

I wouldn't prefer a Wii for two reasons:
I think the motion stuff is fairly retarded.
I hate the graphics, and my above post was all about how much I love good graphics, and interesting games that way you think - Wii doesn't really offer these.
I don't think LBP would sell better on the Wii. Or, if it did, it would probably be due to the fact that so many people own one.
My accusations weren't absurd, and to call you racist would be completely illogical.

Anyway... Even thou it's awesome to know Pornstars can get it on with nerds the chances of you being that nerd is pretty slim. You are more likely to get complete opposite of that. But she can play with my Joystick any day...
