Namco Lists Three New PS3 Titles
Oh, this ought to be fun.
Namco Bandai has updated their game catalog and it features three unnamed PlayStation 3 titles. You can see the three games in question sitting at the top of this list; they're gonna prompt a ton of speculation. The good news is that we have the genre classifications for each: RPG, Shooter, and Sports. As for RPGs, they've already produced Eternal Sonata for both the Xbox 360 and PS3, so that can't be it; perhaps it's Tales of Vesperia, which has supposedly already been confirmed. We really can't guess at the shooter or sports titles, just because it could be any number of things. Either way, it's good to see Namco continuing to support the PS3, and if Vesperia is indeed on the way, you can bet that this particular publisher won't be so inclined to exclusively support the 360 in the future. Now, we would like to say that the "shooter" might be a new Ace Combat - we had heard about the possibility that this franchise may return to the PS3 - but it falls more into the "flight/action" genre. There's also talk about a new Katamari Tribute for the PSN, but we're pretty damn sure that has nothing to do with Sports.
Anyway, do you have any ideas? Of Namco's existing library, what might you want to see on the PS3? Or are we looking at three new IPs on that list? Either way, we'll certainly keep you updated, so stay tuned.

Incidentally there is a game towards the bottom of the list "Soul Mass Tribute". Could this be Namco pushing out an update to Soul Calibur with tons of Namco game characters recreated using the in game assets and character creation?
I remember that the game director for Soul Calibur 4 supposedly confirmed that Kos-Mos would be available in the game via the character creator. No sign of her yet, so perhaps some of what was envisioned for SC4 was snipped from the game to make release and there is more to come? Here's to hope.

As much as I love the quality of SC4, the character creation in SC3 has a bit more depth, I don't understand why Namco brought a less capable SC game with version 4, SC3 and to some extent SC2 overshadow it still, with the exception of online play of course.

I think Soul Mass Tribute listed for PS3 is the Katamari game. Clicking on it takes you to the page for this game.
There's also Super Robot series listed for PS3 too.
