Worms Wriggles Onto PSN
Aw, remember Worms? The puzzle/action/strategy game that was both hilarious and addictive? The franchise has gone through many iterations over the years and one of the most recent - simply entitled, Worms - has landed on the PSN.
This is the game that has been available on the Xbox 360 for some time, but this new version for PlayStation 3 owners has been spruced up a little. As Gamer Limit reports, there will be "additional retro-styled landscapes, a wide array of team voices, additional graphic features and effects, a much more responsive physics engine, 1080p support and four additional weapons including the much loved Holy Hand Grenade, Super Sheep and Concrete Donkey." You'll be able to play offline with up to four people, and for the reasonable price of only $12.99, you can immerse yourself once more into the crazy world of worms warfare on parade. For those of you who are unfamiliar, we suggest heading over to Wikipedia or checking out some early reviews of former installments; it's kinda hard to explain in only a few sentences. Let's just say you should be happy that it is now available on the PSN, and if you want a fantastic rainy day game, look no further. This one will keep you playing for hours with a smile on your face.
Unfortunately, it only seems to be on the PSN for North America; European/PAL gamers have to wait just a bit longer, as it should hit the PSN overseas on Easter weekend. It's only a few days, so chin up!
