Premium DLC Coming For Magic Ball, Cuboid, Mahjong Tales

We've been lucky enough to see many fun and even addictive titles hit the PSN over the past year, and now, three of them will be getting extra downloadable content.

Today, TikGames and Creat Studios have announced that premium DLC is on the way for Magic Ball, Mahjong Tales: Ancient Wisdom, and Cuboid. The booster pack for Magic Ball will be available for download on the Store this Thursday, April 16, and the packs for the other two games will follow soon after. For the former, we'll get a whole new world - complete with 25 levels - to bounce around in; it's being called a "magical, witch-themed" land, which should go nicely with the Pirate and Medieval worlds we already went through in Magic Ball. Also, via free patch download, we'll get to toss in our own custom music! For Cuboid, there will be no less than 33 new levels in the upcoming booster pack, along with the Level Editor, which is a fully functional option that even lets you earn Trophies for creating your own levels and rating others. Oh, and it too will receive custom music support from a free patch download.

Mahjong fans will soon get 25 all new layouts to tackle in Infinity mode, plus a level editor where you can design your own layouts, which can then be taken online for multiplayer fun. Also, it seems many players wanted the use of a mouse, so that option will come with the booster pack as well, in the form of a free patch. Said Vladimir Starzhevsky, CEO of Creat Studios, Inc.:

"We are thrilled with the response that our first three PlayStation Network titles have received from both the PlayStation community and the media, and we are excited about releasing these Booster Packs to add to the great gaming experiences that so many PSN players are already enjoying. We have listened to our gamers who have repeatedly asked for more levels, level editors and new trophies, and we’re thrilled to be able to deliver on so many of their requests."

Wow, that's great news, these games are pretty darn good and inexpensive. Custom music support being patched in is wonderful. Nice to see developers continuing support of their product as well as offering DLC for their games.

This is exactly what I envisaged when the PSN and PS Store came along.

I like the inclusion of level editors and the ability to share custom levels. This again re-enforces the whole PSN community. Kudos to TikGames and Creat Studios.
