Saints Row 2 Ultor Expansion Delayed One Week

If you were looking for the previously revealed Ultor Expansion for Saints Row 2 on the PSN or XBLM this week, you're going to be disappointed. But you won't be disappointed for long.

THQ has confirmed that this new batch of downloadable content has been delayed for one week; it'll now hit the Network and Marketplace on April 23. It'll cost PSN users $9.99 and XBLM users 800 Microsoft Points, and you will receive three new co-op missions, new cars and aircraft, and character customization options. Also, as most of you know, adult entertainment star Tera Patrick will be your partner throughout those co-op missions, and we figure there's nothing better than a pornstar with a firearm. Finally, you can expect new maps for the Strong Arm and Gangsta multiplayer modes, so all of this content combined should be worth the price of admission. Saints Row 2 may not be as popular - or as good - as Grand Theft Auto IV, but it's still entertaining, and any extra content will only make it more appealing to the fans. Furthermore, we're awaiting news of the third installment, which we've heard will be going in a "whole new direction." We're still not sure what that means, exactly, but our theory centers on realism; they may lose that arcade-y feel from the first two games.

Anyway, the Ultor Expansion drops next week and because we know that's not groundbreaking news, we figured we'd toss in a happy pic here to add more...um...widespread interest.
