Special "Black Cloud PS3" Bundle Now Available For Purchase

There's a rule in strip clubs- "look but don't touch." ...think that's entirely irrelevant? Not really, because for most of you out there, this drop-dead gorgeous bundle will only be seen and never touched. Aww...

As discovered at PlayStation LifeStyle, this is the Limited Edition "Cloud Black" Final Fantasy VII PlayStation 3 bundle, which is available now on Play-Asia.com. You receive a 160GB PS3, the freshly released "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children" Blu-Ray, complete with the one-hour Final Fantasy XIII demo, and of course, that special brand on the machine itself. If price isn't an object, then the $649 price tag won't bother you; while it may seem steep, it's only $50 more than the regular launch 60GB PS3. In that respect, it's a damn good price for the hardcore FF fans out there, although we were hoping for another little bonus with the package. Maybe they could've tossed in, oh I don't know, a Final Fantasy VII remake...? Obviously, Square-Enix missed the boat on that one, but no worries, we fully expect that remake announcement to arrive at E3. Okay, so perhaps this is a late-afternoon daydream and nothing more, but when we see a bundle like this, it gets us all optimistic. No idea why.

So anyway, if you want that special PS3 and you desperately desire that FFXIII demo, you're looking at an actual dream come true. Heck, I'm considering breaking my PS3 on purpose just to get this bad boy...  There's a limited number; it's gonna go fast!

Just looking at that bundle makes me so emotional I think I could throw up. No doubt it is a thing of beauty, but seeing it and knowing that there is no FFVII remake attached fills me with an intense fury.

If i was Ben or Arnold or who ever actually owns the site, i would sell it and buy a Skyline GTR34 or 370Z

There is probably going to be a new bundle at E3 to replace the current 160 GIG one, since a lot of stores don't carry it anymore.

All I ever see in any stores are the basic 80 gig systems with nothing extra. No bundles ect..., and they never have but 2 or 3 in stock.

It looks neat and sounds good, but i think the bundle i would be more interested in buying is if they do a GOW bundle.
But i'll never see bundles like that in Canada.So i'll just aww and Ooooo

Im slowly becoming more and more frustrated with Square. Not because of this, i have a ps3 so i wouldnt be buying this anyway, but Square has been acting like total douches for a while and i am not inclined to buy their game at all just because they are pissing me off. I really want FF XIII, but i dont want square to have my money. I'll just buy it used...

It isn't even a great looking console but I wouldn't be surprised if it is already sold out just because it is FFVII related. lol if I won the jackpot in a lottery, I would consider buying it. but for those of us who are in the middle and lower class, $650 ($800CAD) is A LOT of $$$. That money could go to rent for 1 month or food for like 3 months. I'm good with my system for now.

What a lame looking console. An extra $150 for a copy of a terrible movie and a small insignia?!?!? C'mon people...this is ridiculous. What is that logo on the PS3 anyways? I was expecting Cloud's Buster Sword to be on the PS3 at the very least.

I don't think the PS3 is normally $399 in Japan, all the Americans complaining about the price, well they get it the cheapest. Plus, play asia is not cheap either.

I suggest them, throw in FFVII game for free, like the suggestion from GOWIII. This will be a great idea. So many incentives to buy these special editions. I am one of those unfortunate ones that missed the PS2 era, and i do not plan to go back, only forward. Especially with all these great PS3 games coming out (my wallet shrinking).

I really think its a great idea from now on to throw in the old games with new ones, since blu-ray has so much space. It doesn't hurt. Like how much royalty will it cost to resell an old game, right?

I would get it...if I had the money. It looks awesome...love that "Lion" symbol (I forget what it's called sorry major FF fans).

And I would die to have the FFXIII demo in my hands, along with the FF Versus XIII and FF Agito XIII trailer. Although gameplay and those trailers are posted on YouTube.

OMFG Square(Heads) Enix screws us over on all of our RPG's and then expects people to eat up this Final Fantasy 7 crap? Stay with X-Box you traitorous pieces of crap. You guys may have been hearing my rants about SE for the past year and I hope you agree with me on this subject. They have taken some great titles that we all liked and given them to Microsoft, which is absolutely rediculous since the Crap-box is almost non existent in Japan where SE is based. Ya good luck you jerks. I was chompin at the bit for Star Ocean 4 and was one of the only reasons I got a PS3 along with FF13 but the fact that they got lazy and started up a partnership with Microsoft has made me say screw that noise. I've boycotted SE from my home. hope you guys don't buy into a ported FF game either. hmmm... 50gb disc or DVD9? which one should we creat an RPG on? oh i know lets get lazy and go with DVD9.... to hell with SE. I hope you guys are as mad about it as me.
