Unannounced PS3 Exclusives To Explode At E3?

Has anyone noticed that many of the most anticipated unannounced projects seem to be PlayStation 3 exclusives? Not all of them, certainly, but the buzz tends to center on PS3 games that haven't been officially confirmed just yet, and there is the distinct possibility that we could see some huge announcements at E3.

Perhaps first on the list is whatever Team ICO's game turns out to be. We're fairly certain it's exclusive to Sony's machine and we've recently heard that it might be closer to ICO than to Shadow of the Colossus. Now, due to the huge loyal following that can be attached to either title, it's no surprise that many, many gamers have been waiting on this announcement for quite some time. It's bound to enjoy an unveiling at some point this year, and we figure E3 is the perfect venue. Next up is the possibility of Kingdom Hearts III, although it's more optimism and hope as there's virtually no concrete evidence to support the theory. But Square-Enix seems to have come around to the idea of supporting the PS3 - at least, we hope they have - and we're long overdue for another KH installment. It's way too lucrative a franchise for the publisher to abandon it, and the fans really want another game.

And although David Jaffe says he doesn't have full control over when his new project from Eat Sleep Play can be announced, we're assuming Sony PR is preparing something for E3. Most have concluded that the game is Twisted Metal for the PS3, but despite supposed "confirmations" from places like IGN, Jaffe claims there has been no official announcement for that project. Well, how much longer do we have to wait? Lastly, we believe there may be a few more first-party titles we haven't heard of just yet, and Sony may use E3 to unveil at least one of them. The bottom line is that we're well aware of many of the blockbuster franchises, but when it comes to exclusive IPs, information and details tend to go wanting until the last minute. But we say, prepare for some fireworks in a few months time...

The Official Playstation Mag, had a Rumor last year that KH3 will be announced as a Playstation 3 exclusiv at TGS, but it did not happen. so i think SE has recieved a Cheque and decided to bring it to the other plattform. everyone knows that SE has tried to show SO4 in 2007 at tgs for ps3, but in last minute they dicided the opposide way, and you know what happend. SE lose there fanbase, i was was a huge Suporter of them, but now...

Hope I hear something about FXIII. Maybe an approximate release date for US.

What I hate Microsoft the most is not that they are delaying FFXIII, but they are delaying FFXIII versus AND FXIII Agito. Square simply cannot bring out the FXIII spinoff/side story until the actual FXIII is out.... *sigh*

Thank you for telling us they are not "spin-offs" since I'm just fu**ing surprised as to why most people don't know THAT!!! God...FF VERSUS XIII is it's own game. A spin-off would have something to do with FFXIII correct???? Well this has absolutely not relation with FFXIII except for the fact that they're set in the same universe and that it's part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis.

My wishlist for exclusives are as follows:

Kingdom Hearts 3
Legend of Dragoon (remake or PREQUEL)
Final Fantasy VII remake
T.R.A.G. Sequel (if you don't remember this game I hate you)
And hell throw in a new Megaman X RPG, i loved command mission >_>

As far as news goes, BRING ON THE RPG RELEASE DATES! FF13, FFv13! WKC, hell even give me an estimate on like an Elder Scrolls 5. Also, a release date for GoW3 would be nice.

So seriously, who controls the FFVII title? SE or Sony (Sony did publish the title)? Is that the reason for all the spin offs and no full remake?

FFVII-2 (not remake but final piece- PS3 exclusive)
could be announced (but not likely)

i dont think KH3 will be announced cause there is still well... 3 KH games to be released in NA and 2 in Japan so.... yeah.... No KH3 yet.

lol Persona 5 would be really neat. I love the 4th one. turnbased rpgs are awesome.

My thoughts on E3 announcements:
Will we finally see some LA Noire?

There is supposedly another exclusive R* product in the works too.

Lost and Damned coming to PS3?

Team ICO game is probably a guarantee at this point.

That game that the UK reporter saw a year+ ago still has yet to be announced.

All I want for Christmas if a mother-f***ing Ace Combat game on ps3! (Even if it's a VERY late port of 6)

I would also love to see Sony bust out another big list of new PSN titles like they did last E3.

Hopefully it's the secret game everyone keeps raving about that was first mentioned by that UK reporter. I'm sick of being teased by this game and I wish Sony would let the cat out of the bag already. The next Rockstar game that Sony announced a long time ago was PS3 exclusive would also be nice if unveiled at e3.

if the team ico game isnt announce this E3, i think it will anger many fans. Also, i reckon maybe Resistance 3 or Killzone liberation 2. I also want some gameplay footage of MAG and Ratchet and Clank. And lets hope theres something on what Kojimas working on and that secret game that you lot know and no1 else does

I hope one of the exclusives is Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 4 it was the greatest fighting game series ever why not a damn sequel instead of the outdated GIMPS Budokai fighting system

im hoping a ninja game the ps3 does not have enough sword fighting games and NG is the only reason i wanted a 360.
but im thinking it will be BLACK 2 a few months back there was alot of news going around criterion is making a new BLACK 2 exclusive for the ps3.
theres 3 R* pse exclusives but i doubt any of them will be anounced this year because there still working on GTAIV DLC and max payne 3.
and please this is top of my list a new.

And someonelse told me yesterday that Epic is working on 3 ps3 exclusivs too (i think it was a Guy at N4G).

Go-on Sony, explode E3 with new game announcement.

Wii's going to show that Wii-mote plus rubbish and other useless peripherals to take more of your momey, I think they have a new big game in the works?

I don't know what M$ will come up with, something to do with spending more money for excusive DLC. Maybe something to do with another hardware change?

It'll be nice to see a PS3 price-cut announcement. Release dates for this year on big AAA exclusive. Lots of footage of anounced and unannounced games. LBP on PSP with another GoW PSP, Gran Turismo PSP footage. KH3 footage with FFXIII and FFXIII versus to add some top RPG's to the line-up. I want to see more PS3 and PSP conectivity, remember the PSP being shown as a rear-view mirrow for the F1 game on PS3, I want it.

infact i found these ps3 year pretty interesting, my most anticipated game is from team ICO, i own a 360 and im happy with it, but i have to recognize that once a price drop occurs on sony console, ps3 will blow away the competition. its interesting and E3 is so close! i'm curious to watch whatever sony have prepared for gamers. lets see what 360 got well hidden too.

btw FFVII is old, but a remake will sell some consoles with no doubt.

All Team Ico games will be exclusive to Sony platforms, as it is a Sony studio. Don't know why the article states why there would even be a question about it.

I think its best that Mr. Dutka not reveal what he saw. He knows better, and then everyone will whine that Sony has no games or their E3 conference was dull and nothing was shown, etc.

Exclusive! Exclusive! Exclusive! I buy, and play the games that I want to play. It has nothing to do with exclusive. If it happens to be exclusive then great , but that is no big deal to me. I don't care who made it, or how many platforms it is on, as long as it is a good game that I want to play. Exclusive! Get over it!!!!
