Konami Ponders ZOE3. 'If You Want It, Tell Us'

If there is a soul out there who can deny that Zone of the Enders 2 wasn't bad ass, you may need clinical help. ZOE2 is the very reason why fans of the franchise have been clamoring for a third title so desperately, obviously it isn't because of the first ZOE game, which wasn't exactly a masterpiece. Kojima and co. have hinted at the possibility of a third game for some time, usually stating that when Kojima has some free time (as in: when MGS4 is finished), Konami may green-light the project.

Well, it's been a while since the thought of another sequel has been brought up, but in a recent episode of their Metal Gear Integral podcast, Kojima Productions employees were asked about the game and they showed interest in it. They were quoted as saying: "How many people really want [a] Zone of the Enders sequel?"

Aki Saito, a representative for Konami continued, "If there's so many people wanting to see Zone of the Enders, why not put the priority on top, a little further up, you know, but we just want to know." Saito then told fans and listeners to "make sure you write your comments and we'll check your comments out". it's only anime for the cut scenes, the resat is good. but i have to say the dubbing it's the greatest, but it works. it's very different from the jap version though, ie. in japan nohman says something along the lines of loving dingo, lol.

I liked the first one - although it wasn't very good at telling you where to go next! I never played the second one. I would definitely be interested in a new ZOE - the type of game play from ZOE with MGS4 graphics... that could be amazing.

I played the demo for the first one and really liked it but at the time I was not old enough to buy M rated games, let alone drive to the store, or have enough cash to do this. Hell the only reason that I got MGS2 is because of my kickass older brother. So now I feel like I missed out on an epic game.

You haven't missed out if you've played it. Find it. Buy it. Play it. It's hours upon hours of bad ass mech fighting. I always wished that Kojima could get ahold of the DBZ liscense. Now THAT would b awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!

ZOE (with the mgs2 demo) was my 2nd ps2 game (DOA2 Hardcore was my first) and I loved it. I actually totally forgot that there was a 2nd one. I would definitely love to see what the ps3 can do for the ZOE series, but by the time it comes out...

Man, ZOE2 was awesome. Just the demo I played was addictive and had me showing it to all my friends. A third would be, at the least, a must-rent.

it'll be very hard to, zoe2 is about as rare as Ff7 now-a-days. I was amazed when I walked into gamestop and found it on the used display section, literally that's the one game I always looked for just in case it was there. First time I played it I got it from a friend, lol. There's a 1000 mech vs 2 orbital frames + leos in zoe2 :P and the game is super smooth, it's what gundam games should always have been, essentially no issues with all this epic action on the screen.

I know how you feel, I have been looking for it for a long time. I played through it a bunch of times and sold it one day. Oops! I was in a Play N Trade the other day and they told me they had one in stock. Me and the guy looked all over the damn store for 30 minutes and couldn't find it. Talk about a big letdown! The control in the second one was amazing, that Zero Shift move never got old. I felt like a total bad ass towards the end of that game!

ZOE2 was the most fun Mech-anime 3rd person combat game I've ever played on PS2.
The graphics were insane and the game was short but I replayed it heaps and did the Bonus stuff.

And those people that say they haven't heard of the game or not/weren't interested then obviously they have not played the 2nd (obviously) =D

I mean seriously. It's like anime God of War + Ironman but really fast and full of non cliche' laser beams!
