Need For Speed Undercover PS3 Gets DLC Early
Many times in the past, downloadable content and demos would hit the Xbox 360 first, but those days are fast disappearing. In fact, the PSN now boasts a little gift from Black Box Studios...
Black Box and EA have announced two new content packs for Need for Speed Undercover: the first is the Challenge Series, which is free and boasts 60 different events across "two new game modes including the opportunity to earn up to three new cars." The Boss Car pack will let you experiment with the game's "specially customized boss vehicles." Now, the good news for PlayStation 3 owners is that both packs are available right now on the Network (they will come to the 360 and PC "soon"). You can check out the full details for both packs at the link above, but we just gotta list out the Boss Cars right here; some of these sound totally bad-ass:
- Carmen's Shelby GT500
- Chase's BMW M6
- Chau Wu's Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG
- G-Mac's Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4
- Hector's Nissan 370Z
- Nickel's Dodge Viper SRT10
- Rose's Porsche 911 GT2
- Zack's Volkswagen Scirocco
Undercover was a fun game that can always use racing extras, and we imagine this bonus content may re-spark some interest in the title. But it's encouraging to see some DLC coming to the Network first, because it was getting kinda tiresome to watch Live receive plenty of good stuff before the PSN. Times are changing, no?

NFS: Undercover got a bad review and a bad name. DLC might not matter, only to the people who ignored the review in the first place and gave it a shot. I know Ben did a re-review, but other sites stuck with their old reviews.
Soon there won't be any bad games at all because developers will sell beta games and then update them when gamers complain.
P.S The new X-men movie was OK, wait at the end after all the credits roll, there is something extra about Weapon 11.

Anyway. I haven't played it yet or even read a review of this game yet but what I gathered so far is that it was kinda disappointing to start of with.
I just had too many other games to get through and buy so Undercover completely slipped my mind. I will still give it a try thou but I guess I will give it a rent first or maybe buy it at the trade in shop so I won't pay full price for it.
I'm just waiting(patiently) for GT5... Then I will have my driving fix for the bnext couple of years. Besides still having a blast with Motorstorm 2. Might not be custom cars and street races but I fully enjoy it! So GT5 is the next racing game I will truly want...

P.S. I am loving the PS3 getting some time exclusive stuff for a change.
