inFamous Demo Now Available With Pre-Order Code?

Wow, it seems like inFamous just can't wait to get going.

The game is scheduled to release on May 26, but an earlier report showed that some gamers may have already gotten their sweaty mitts on Sucker Punch's promising action blockbuster. That's really early and to add to the hype, those who pre-ordered the game at GameStop may be able to access the demo right now. According to PlayStation LifeStyle, some PlayStation forumites are reporting that their download code for the demo works. The visual evidence sits right there, so if you have that code sitting nearby, you might want to turn on the PS3...there's no guarantee that it works, but it's worth a try. Heck, it'll only take you about a minute and if you've pre-ordered, that means you're fully psyched and rarin' to go. The competition - Red Faction: Guerilla, Prototype, etc. - may prove stiff, but we have every confidence that inFamous will be a great exclusive addition to the PS3's lineup.

So, go ahead. What are you waiting for? Some people are already playing that demo; you don't want to miss out, do you? Give it a shot!

This is true I saw this article and turned on my PS3 and sure enough it works and it is one of the larger demos. Thanks for letting us know you just made my night!

Sweet, thanks for the heads up! They said it would work starting this Friday but playing this puppy a little earlier has gotten me very excited! =)

Mine is currently downloading. And btw, you can pre-order it from GameCrazy and get the code as well..you know, for those of you (like me) who like to stay away from GameStop. ;)

I won't say anything about what you do but the gameplay is even more fun than I was expecting and the story seems like it could be deeper than some think. I'm happy I pre-ordered.

This game is a MUST have!!!! to anyone that thinks this game will suck i feel sorry for you. this game is great. the controls are smooth and the action is plenty. i can not wait for this game. i died so many times in the demo but hey thats the fun of the games.

Alright, so, I didn't pre-order this yet because I wanted to see what people thought of it. Even though it's only a couple people, I trust you guys and I'm gonna go ahead and order it on Amazon. I can get it for less than in the store with release date delivery and I don't mind that I don't get the code, I've got other games to play. Plus, I hate Gamestop and I don't know where Game Crazy is. But thanks for your thoughts :) I'm now a happy camper and not the kind in SOCOM that sits in a corner all game......

I played the demo and I have to say inFAMOUS is a must have for me. I put a good hour into it and I am tired as hell! 2:30 in the morning is not what I wanted to stay up to but the demo had me hooked! Cannot wait for this one!

Controls are great. They are very easy to get used to. The climbing mechanics are easy and NOT frustrating. Graphics are alright but I don't care, the gameplay makes up for it. Everything I thought about this game previously is better than what I had expected. As for the story, I cannot comment on, but I'm sure it will play out very similarly to GTA since it is a sandbox after all.

i cant stop playing this game. first off graphics are not KZ2 but who cares. this game is so damn hot. you can climb almost anything, blast almost anything, kill everybody, suck the life outta people, revive people, pin people to the ground so they cant move.

i love this game!!!

Dang it. They never gave me my demo code at EB Canada. They usually offer the same promos as Gamestop since GS isn't established here yet. I should them and ask. I've fully paid for my copy of inFamous; made the last payment yesterday.

Right now, it's just KZ2 and GT5 Prologue keeping me entertained. =)

Well, they said they have never heard of any "Pre-order inFamous, get a code to the demo." deal at EB. They know of the Uncharted 2 online Beta and they are also giving you a code for anew Cole McGrath skin on the 26th. They will let me know if a code will be available to me, otherwise I'll have to wait until May 21. Still, a demo is kind of useless here because I'm buying the game regardless. I did want to try it out to see how it plays. Demos can be very helpful in getting you some experience in regards to playing a game. Playing the RE5 demo 30 times made playing the retail game a breeze for me.

I called Gamestop about it and some chick there was completely clueless as to what I was talking about. for a while she thought I was talking about the Uncharted 2 Demo, but after I explained exactly what I wanted to know, she remarked she had no idea what I was talking about and put me on hold to check in to it, and after a minute I got hung up on...

god, I HATE working with GS...

yea none of my local gamestops got it. i checked all 4... this sux and the infamous team are dickheads for doing ths because u can still cancel the preorder its not a guaranteed purchase. i hate developers who do this gay shit. faggots just release the demo for public. lame assholes.

K, just confirmed, Game Crazy has the demo codes. GameStop has the Gig Blades. See if Game Crazy is near you..
