MotorStorm Free DLC Coming, New Game Update Released
MotorStorm: Pacific RiftRaise your hands if you love free bonus content for your favorite games. ...why isn't everyone's hand raised? Y'all love it; you know you do.
As SCEA Product Marketing Specialist David Bull posted up over at the PlayStation blog, there's a whole horde of extra MotorStorm: Pacific Rift DLC coming your way...and it's free. It all starts tomorrow with the first of eight livery packs; each to be delivered on a weekly basis and each boasting new paint jobs for three vehicles. At the end of these upcoming eight weeks, you will have hot new skins for every last vehicle in the game, thereby transforming the entire cosmetic appeal of Pacific Rift. Bad-ass, right? A new video is over there to watch, and after you're done, you can read up on the alterations/enhancements the latest game update (#2) has implemented:
- Sugar Rush short-cut removed The short-cut to the left of the keep right arrows going into the sugar field was not intentionally included and has been removed
- Sugar Rush respawn point fixed Crashing at a certain point on the track no longer respawns the vehicle in a generous position
- Inclusion of Microbadges
What are Microbadges? Well, they're "in-game displayable 'medals' which let you flaunt your proudest personal accomplishments and your off-road racing prowess to every other racer online." You should definitely read up on these, and just so you have an excuse to click the link above, we'll leave out the detailed explanation. But stay tuned for a bunch of videos you won't find at the PS Blog... ;)

O man Ben... this opening reminded me so bad about my hatred for this one professor I had this past semester.
Every class she would tell us to raise our hands if we liked... (weather, extra credit) basically treating us like we were 4

That Sugar Rush shortcut doesn't bother me all that much if you get your angle right around the turn (not using the shortcut) you'll get that ramp on the right. So it basically works even better. But you have to get it at the right angle and speed otherwise you wipe out.
