Hideo Kojima's New Project: Is It Tornado Outbreak?
Okay, before we get ahead of ourselves, let's take a nice close look at all the available evidence.
First of all, we heard that a member of Hideo Kojima's staff said the master's new game will be unveiled in T minus three days and counting. This means we'd get the announcement well before E3, which is when we initially believed it would arrive. Next, another source said the game would be revealed on May 18, which is a little after that "T minus three days" prediction, but still a good two weeks before E3. Finally, it appears that the latest Famitsu features a teaser advertisement that involves the "new game from Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima," and this picture you see here accompanies that ad. And so, people are starting to wonder what it might be; Siliconera has guessed at Tornado Outbreak, which is a game that doesn't technically exist, but it should at some point. GameFly shows the game in their database with Konami as the publisher, and it's slated to release for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii. ...now, this seems like a strange project for Kojima, but then again, we might be taking that title too literally.
Either way, the rumor is now that Kojima's new game is Tornado Outbreak, and it seems we'll learn of the truth within one week's time. If not, we can always look forward to E3.

hell it could be gunfights in the middle of bum-frack nowhere during cloudy weather...
hell even with this guys quote:
"In Japan Raiden means "Storm". Could be a metifor. " it could be Metal Gear Raiden
you never know, but with kojima behind the wheel, i doubt this game has anything to do with cyclones...

Some many possibilities, so little time.....
Maybe a "storm chaser" type game?
Maybe your in charge of a early warning system?
Or it could be a run for your lives, & then rebuild the town game?
Or become some kind of hometown hero/rescuer in it's aftermath???

When I saw that thing I thought MGS and was frankly surprised when tornadoes were brought into the conversation.

Considering that the 60GB and 40GB systems use very different motherboards, it's highly unlikely that any firmware problem of this type is related to the hardware, it's more likely to be an issue related to a configuration parameter, basically something to do with software. The other possibility is hard disc space. THese firmware updates download a compressed file, which must be decompressed to install,m and that process itself will require a certain amount of workspace. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that those having issues also have very full HDDs.
Whether it has an impact on firmware updates or not, I would advise that you always have a minimum of 1GB free and clear on your system's HDD. All software uses some temp space, and when you're downloading 150+MB, decompressing it and installing something, you will need some space.

Oh and what exactly do you mean by the game "doesn't technically exist"?

360 port of mgs4 will come in 2 disk dvd
1 for the solo campaign n 1 for the multiplayer game
besides the 360 port will have true 720p resolution coupled with 2x MSAA.....now kojima will be satisfied........cuz 360 xenos can handle more polygons than rsx

personally has a metal gear fan i dont want Kojima to lose time with a port that only gonna make happy the majority of xbox fanboys to come and say''zomg ps3 is dead!!''
If he want to do the next Metal gear multi ok but only if it really dont affect the final product.. personally I would like to metal gear to go to pc if that makes the game better.

As for MGS4 on the 360 - let's drop that whole 'will' thing. It's a possible maybe at best.

T is for takeoff, and the minus is the amount of time left before takeoff.
If you say T minus two, and takeoff time is 0830, it is 0828.
"Holding" is another term meaning the countdown has stalled usually due to a technical problem.
T minus 2 and holding in this case would mean 0828 and countdown has paused until problem is resolved.
***********
Another example.....
T minus zero.
"T minus zero" means "out of time."
This comes from a countdown convention used in by both the American military and NASA.
Generally, it is used when counting down to a major event that will happen at a specific time.
Mathematically, T is time, minus whatever amount of time is left until the event happens.
If the News Years ball is dropping in 10 minutes, one could say "The ball is dropping in T minus 10 minutes and counting!"
Therefore, "T minus zero" means that there is no time left.
****************************
Also "and counting" refers to the countdown clock already in actual "run-down" mode, so according to the article posted here on the 12th, "T-minus 3 days & counting" would be
May 15th at about the same time
(AND THAT SHOULD BE TODAY, AT THE SAME TIME HE ACTUALLY SAID IT).
So whether it be another MG game, or not, I think the T-Minus was some kind of oame hint, I still think the gameplay could be either a storm related game, or a military, shuttle, & terrorist combined type of game.
(But since I can't afford to be calling "Miss Cleo" long distance at her prison, I could be very wrong too), LOL

If its supposed to stop at 4, stop at 4! no need to milk it!
Koj hinted at a vampire themed game in mgs3 and that would be interesting!
Either way, Koj needs to stop milking mgs and venturing outside of mgs before he becomes known as the george lucas of video games.
