Red Faction: Guerilla Multiplayer Demo Drops Next Week
We keep telling you not to sleep on Red Faction: Guerilla, and if the single-player demo didn't convince you, maybe the multiplayer one will.
The single-player demo has been downloaded over a million times already but for a taste of some awesome multi action, log onto the PSN next Thursday, May 21. According to Console Monster, it will highlight the game's "Damage Control" mode, as you'll have to build and rebuild specific structures on the two maps you will receive. This multiplayer demo will be released for both the PSN and XBLA and feature 2 maps, 9 weapons, 5 backpacks, 15 XP unlockable levels, and the description does indeed say "damage control only." Scheduled to launch in the first week of June, we still say Guerilla is a potential sleeper hit, and perhaps another demo will prove to everyone that Volition's latest is well worth a purchase consideration. Yeah, we know there are plenty of great games coming our way this summer, but we can always use more, right? There will come a downtime when not many titles find their way to store shelves (like April and most of May, for example), and you'll be wanting to look back and select something you may have missed...
Anyway, we assume that if you loved the single-player demo for Red Faction: Guerilla, you're going to love the multiplayer demo. Hell, more developers should do this!
