Most reviews you will find say that Watchmen: The End is Nigh is an average, simplistic downloadable title that can be fun for a while.

You may not have been interested in the idea of purchasing both episodes to find out, but maybe you'll be more inclined to give it a try if the episodes become available on Blu-Ray disc. According to 1Up, Deadline Games director Soren Lund confirmed that Watchmen would move onto a physical format and release on July 21 in North America. Of course, there is a logical reason for this move: the movie, "Watchmen," comes out on DVD at that time, so it would make sense to put the game adaptation on store shelves then, too. Or, if it doesn't quite release on the same day, the article states that The End is Nigh will launch "within two weeks of the film's home release." More concrete details will be heading our way soon but in the meantime, you might want to expect some movie/game packages out there. You know, maybe you can nab both for a certain price, thereby making it a much more attractive option. Furthermore, if you watch and enjoy the movie, you're that much more likely to give the game a try. It's all about marketing and tickling the buying bone, right? Of course, if neither the game or movie is good enough, the consumer may not respond as enthusiastically as a publisher might hope...

Anyway, look for both "Watchmen" the movie and Watchmen: The End is Nigh game to release on disc format in late July.
