Konami On E3 Announcements: "Revolutionary & Groundbreaking"
See Full ImageThere's often that one day when all of the news is focused around one company, and today seems to be Konami's day. We've already put up two stories regarding a possible new Metal Gear game to be unveiled at the show, and Konami has just added fuel to the fire by sending out this bit of hype in regards to their E3 announcements. And it reads:
“With Surprise Guests and Revolutionary Announcements, This is An Event You Do Not Want to Miss! Featuring a variety of high-profile speakers for all major platforms, Konami’s Press Conference will highlight games across all genres targeted towards players of all age groups and skill levels. Konami will feature groundbreaking announcements that you will truly not want to miss.”
Some pretty powerful words to use, Konami. Revolutionary? Groundbreaking? It seems like a Metal Gear game is all but obvious at this point, so we'd better see Kojima walk up on stage enclosed in a gigantic Jehuty mech-suit waving flags with "ZOE3" written on them. Because I swear with the words "all age groups" in that message, the last thing I want to see is a bunch of Wii games. In the, slightly altered, words of Dave Chappelle and Ashy Larry, write this down Konami: M-A-R-S. Mars, bitches. That's where [I want to go]. Red rocks! Yey, yey!

If MGS5 is announced, then it's not just a done deal, it's time to sell all the 360's and buy a PS3.
How funny would it be for MGS4 to get announced for the 360, but MGS5 announced for the PS3? Both released on the same day, hehe.
