Jaffe's Game Won't Be Revealed At E3
Everyone has been waiting to hear about David Jaffe and Eat Sleep Play's new project, and many are hoping to get the announcement at this year's E3.
However, we'll have to dash those hopes, as Jaffe himself has revealed in his latest video blog that whatever the game is, it most certainly won't be revealed at this year's show. He does say the team is closing in on another major milestone next month (and they're even cranking away on Memorial Day) and there is a chance their project will be revealed before next year, but E3 2009 is definitely out. Jaffe talks about the possibility of people walking into the Sony booth at E3 2010 and "bam, our game is there." That may sound like a long time to wait, but we get this feeling that an announcement may precede next year's show and we'd honestly be surprised if it didn't hit the Internet some time in 2009. Perhaps the bottom line is that it won't be something "official;" it'll be more of a leak that hits the gaming world like a ton of bricks...we've seen it happen before. As of now, just about everyone assumes this mystery game is Twisted Metal but Jaffe insists that no such project has ever been officially confirmed. There's all sorts of evidence, of course, but evidence isn't the same thing as having a press release in your inbox.
For our part, we have no comment on the matter. Even if we knew what this project was, we wouldn't go tellin' you unless we were staring at a big ol' green light.

I still have some slim hope, he would be the type of person to say it isnt going to be shown and then he shows it to maximum effect cause noone was expecting it.
