Cole Costume For PlayStation Home Unlocked Soon
See Full ImageIf you're a PlayStation newsletter subscriber (you should subscribe to our newsletters first, but whatever), you've already seen the announcement that a free Cole costume for your PlayStation Home avatar will be unlocked via the inFamous demo. But a lot of people are asking: when?
Well, PlayStation LifeStyle has noted the rash of questions that hit the PlayStation Home forums and thankfully, Community Manager Locust_Star was able to help out. See, the key is to be patient. Not enough gamers today are patient enough; they're not willing to wait for things to happen, you know?
"Regarding the Cole costume: It will not unlock until after the game is released. It won’t unlock day and date with the release, but likely within a week it will appear in user’s inventories. This delay, of course, is not ideal but I think most people won’t mind being patient as long as they know that it is coming. Any help in spreading that word is appreciated."
So the good news is that the newsletter wasn't lying to you; there really will be a Cole costume for Home. The bad news is you won't be able to snag it today or immediately upon release, so you'll just have to wait and bite your nails or something. We figure you should be happy with the game's launch, anyway; the game is pretty freakin' awesome. Another great PS3 exclusive! Just remember, if you want access to this, you're going to need to download and play that demo...as if it takes a lot of convincing.

I've tried everything so far, running behind, alongside, firing bombs from atop the train tracks & buildings, running thru the park, or the tunnel to get ahead & meet the truck head-on, but either that 3rd white figure, ot the fatty with fiery arms & bombs keeps frying my butt. And I can keep hitting the truck with sticky bombs & it refuses to blow...ARRRG.
I WILL get it figured it out though, LOL
Only 1 thing that pissed me off big-time about the demo though, is that there's no type of game save or auto-save anywhere for "when you actually quit" the game.
Every damned time I had to start back from the very beginning which got fustrating real quick.
I sure hope the full game isn't that same way too.

But no, in the full game you can save anywhere you want, whenever you want, for the most part. However, when you load your saved game, it will 'spawn' you, so to speak, to the nearest medical center/home from where ever you originally saved.
And yes, there is an autosave as well, which saves before and after each mission.

I know they wanna make money selling junk in their stores, but wouldn't you be more willing to pay for an outfit you customized? Then at least you're not paying $1.50 or whatever for something that 100 other people are wearing at the same time. Cause till that happens I'm not spending a cent in Home. lol, maybe not even. But hey, I'm cheap :)

I was starting to shy away from getting it due to the demo having no save system apon quitting.
But now that you said the full game's got it, I'll be getting it.

The voucher says valid 6-2-09 to 9-24-09. It should work immediately since the e-mailed one did.
The code is case sensitive and must be entered just like you see it, the code for gigawatt blades is EGH2-22BP-JAC2
If it doesn't work then someone else beat you to it
