Front Mission Evolved Site Goes Live
Strategy fans, unite! You will likely remember Front Mission 3 on the original PlayStation and Front Mission 4 on the PS2 and if you enjoyed yourself playing those titles, you'll be happy to hear that Front Mission Evolved is on the way!
The official site has gone live, and you can view some very impressive screenshots along with baseline information for the game. It looks like it'll be at E3 and not surprisingly, there are going to be a whole lot of strategy fans who are now eagerly awaiting this unveiling. We had heard whispers about this project before, but this can be considered to be official, and we're big fans of the concept. Of course, the pure turn-based format from previous iterations probably will give way to something more...well, more "evolved," which is somewhat disappointing. We hold a special place in our hearts for the old-school strat/RPGs like Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre and we hate to see that style disappear entirely, but hey, such is the way of progress. There's no trailer at the site right now but we imagine it'll arrive soon after the video drops at E3, which it most assuredly will. Will it include gameplay? Well, perhaps not, but it all depends on how far along the team is in regards to the development process.
This begs the question: how much time and money do you have allotted for video games over the next year? ...better be a significant amount.

And still be able to use their amazing 2 foot long, 40 button, 2 joystick, with 3 foot pedals controller set-up, &/or bring it out again for those who never had the pleasure of trying it.
Here's some good info on it & what it looks like....
