Rumor: Sony Reveals 3 New IPs Today
Most of us are well aware of the blockbusters on tap for Sony's E3 press conference today, but there may be a few surprises to spice up the presentation.
According to what appears to be an inside source in the form of a Sony rep, SKOAR! is saying that Sony plans to reveal no less than three new IPs. In fact, the wording is "at least three," so perhaps there could be even more; as is, one each should arrive from Rockstar, Mr. Hideo Kojima and Konami (likely Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for the PSP), and - wait for it - "something big from Square centering around the Kingdom Hearts universe." RPG and Disney fans have been clamoring for a new installment in the popular and well-received franchise, and it seems like a Kingdom Hearts III is long overdue. As for the other potential IP announcements, we're not entirely sure if they're talking about IPs we've already heard of, or fresh, never-before-seen titles. If it's the latter, one can only speculate but if it's any IP, we'd like to think that Project Trico (if that is indeed the name) will make its fledgling appearance, along with the likes of Heavy Rain, which we already knew about. Either way, we expect Sony to come hard with the games in a few hours, so everyone just sit tight.
In case you're wondering, Arnold will be doing a live blog of sorts as he'll provide you with minute-to-the-minute updates, and I will be turning those brief "OMG, they just announced...!" tidbits into full stories as fast as I can.

Ben: remember that secret exclusive you told us about (not) ages ago? Well, there's not much time left before they announce it, so could you like tell us what it is, right now? There's no difference if you day what it is or they announce it, you know?
