Spiders Games Tackling PS3 Version Of Mars First
It's only logical: if one platform is more demanding than another, it requires more of your time. Therefore, we have to give props to Spiders Games.
The studio's CEO Jehanne Rousseau spoke to That VideoGame Blog about the team's upcoming RPG, Mars. If you're not familiar, this is a sci-fi role-playing adventure that blends character development and "rhythmic fights," and we will explore a fantastical futuristic world and deal with surprisingly realistic themes (racism, for example). It's not set for release until the end of 2010, but the good news for PlayStation 3 owners is that Spiders Games plans to address the PS3 version first. As they say, it's a "very complicated platform," and Rousseau goes on to say that owners of Sony's machine are "waiting on a good RPG for a system that has not been used to its best most of the time." As for tackling the PS3 right off the bat:
"[If] we concentrate now on all the difficulties and strong points of this console and if we can go over them, the other platforms should be more simple to approach."
Rousseau does add that they won't "cheat Xbox 360 owners," but by handling the tougher platform first, it should be easier for them to move the game to other consoles like the 360. Right now, little else is known about Mars, but we'll definitely be interested in hearing more. Other developers might want to take this approach, too, if they find the PS3 to be a truly daunting challenge.

While I'm yet to see more about "Mars", its good to know that there are still developers who have this kind of mentality towards making games. It makes perfect sense.

"it shouldn't matter if it's hard, they're at least earning their paycheck unlike some developers, *cough, Valve, cough* just saying, thank you Spiders Games for not being lazy. Well i guess i shouldn't be praising them for doing their job."
their = is a pronoun, belonging to more than one
there = is an adverb, referring to a certain position or area
they're = is simply a contraction of "they are"
Huge difference.
I make mistakes too, but I try my best to correct them when I poke fun at another's error.
***For being a dick, I gave myself a thumbs down.
