Qore Offers Incentives For Subscription Renewal

Although we had our reservations about Qore, we were immediately satisfied with our first viewing. And for only $2.99 per installment or $24.99 for a yearly subscription, we've always believed it was a great service for avid gamers.

However, if you're not 100% on a renewal, Qore is giving its current subscribers plenty of incentive to go for another year. According to PlayStation LifeStyle, you can renew your subscription for only $19.99, and as evidenced by an e-mail going out to last year's Qore adopters, you'll also get a promotional code for $5 off your pre-order of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves at Amazon.com. This is only good for pre-orders and expires upon the launch of the game, but to help push you over the fence, Amazon is offering a bonus map, too. If you're not yet familiar, Qore is a virtual magazine of sorts that brings you inside the world of gaming; you can go behind the scenes of the hottest games, see interviews with major players (pun intended) in the industry, and just check out the latest in the gaming world. We distinctly recall one episode where a cute girl was trying out some cosplay costumes...we're not saying that's an incentive or anything, but it kinda is.

So if you want to remain totally up-to-date, Qore will always be a help, although you can always turn to PSXE for your daily fix. You know that, right? Sure you do.

Hm, I wonder if this renewal price (doesn't matter about to uncharted preorder to me) will be the standard renewal price? If so then thats big yes for me renewing. I've gotten a ton of free psn/ps1 games for free thanks to Qore subscription =) not to mention the demos and betas, so in the end, it easily pays for itself and more, like the Playstation and Sony brand always does ;) more bang for your buck.

Even if you don't like qore, the amount of free stuff they give to subscribers totally worth it. I think the Resistance beta was worth it alone.

I can't really talk about the service as I only have two episodes. Both of which don't really offer me much info. Short vids about nothing. Kind of boring. I would gladly subscribe if only Sony would use Qore to reveal first info and looks about ps3 exclusives there instead of say a place like GT.

Yeah the one or two episodes I do have, whice I got free in OPM aren't too spectacular. I'd rather watch Qore... for free.
