GameStop Announces Fight Night Round 4 Tournament
It's arguably the greatest boxing game ever made, and if you have already become a virtual champion in Fight Night Round 4, perhaps you'd like to put your prodigious skills to the test.
GameStop has announced a Fight Night Round 4 nationwide tournament that will take place in over 2,100 stores starting this Saturday, July 11. You will have to participate in four rounds of play and for all our PlayStation 3 owners out there, they should be forewarned that they'll be playing the Xbox 360 version of the game. Once the dust has settled and a small group of champs have been selected, they will meet in the ring at the "Showdown on the Strip" Finals event in Las Vegas. Those who had the ability to make it there will compete against one another in 12 rounds, and the grand prize consists of a one-of-a-kind Championship Belt and $5,000 in prize money. If you want a shot at it, visit GameStop.com for information on how to sign up; you can find the Round 1 Store List so you can pinpoint the GameStop closest to you, and review the official rules. And if you're wondering, you don't need to buy the game at the store in order to be eligible as it's one of those "no purchase necessary" dealios. Just be sure to fully acquaint yourself with the rules and process because it'd be a shame to lose out due to a technicality or something.
If you do happen to participate and end up winning the big prize, please do let us know. Maybe we'll give you some props here at PSXE...

This is just more proof of GS's front office's fanboyism, and it's a damned shame that they're not doing a separate championship on the PS3!
But no worries though.......,
GS won't have any choice but to give the PS3 the props it deserves once it pulls even with, & then surpasses the 360's on the sales charts about midway next year.(yeah, yeah, before anyone says it, I already know that the charts are skewed since probably a 1/3 or higher of MS's sales have been RROD re-buys)

Has anyone else noticed lag in right stick controls? Give me the old-fashioned button punch setup anyday, much more reliable.
