GameStop Offers Exclusive Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Collectors
With all these Collectors editions scheduled for the holidays, it seems that many consumers are going to have make some tough choices.
Not surprisingly, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 will receive a special edition exclusive to GameStop: it will cost you only $10 more and feature an 80-page book with artwork from the entire series, plus comic strips to enhance the storyline and extra game strategy strips. Now, you may have heard that Tecmo has opted to give PlayStation 3 owners more gameplay content and less in the way of gore; there was more blood in the Xbox 360 version of Ninja Gaiden II. In this remake for the PS3, they will sacrifice some of that blood but give you bonus goodies in the form of new playable characters and side missions. Some have complained about this but as far as we're concerned, we just want the content; the blood and gore is merely a cosmetic effect that doesn't necessarily enhance the experience. On the other hand, Sigma 2 is the type of game that might compete with God of War III (if they come out in the same time frame) and let's face it...GoWIII uses extreme violence to its advantage. But if you want slick, fast action, you won't go wrong with Tecmo's critically acclaimed franchise.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is scheduled to release on September 29. It's a game that most any action aficionado should want to play, so if you fall into that category, make sure this gem is on your list.

I always like collectors editions. This may be another one I go for. The 80-page book with game art is a bit of a win, I think the inclusion of a game art book is my favorite pack-in with a Collector's edition.

the expect us to pay full price for the game when we can pick up the 360 copy for 30 bucks less, than it needs all content plus more not little of this little of that.
but if they allow you to play co-op online with another player next to you on the one console (resistance 2 did it so why cant this) than they might have me back.
and have a easier difficulty setting its to hard bloody 2 shots and half of your healths gone.
i can finish killzone 2 on elite which is regarded to be one of the hardest games.
but i cant finish ninja gaiden 2 on the easiest setting.
WTF????????????????????

Seriously, who the hell plays through a game just to watch blood and gore? Every action game I've played and loved I would love with or without gore. Ninja Gaiden is an action game not a survival horror game. The only games that truly rely on gore for atmosphere is the survival horror genre. So throw that crap excuse out the window!
If you play games just for blood and gore your one of two things.
A)Mentally disturbed and should question yourself why you play video games. Then seek help if needed.
B)Your not old enough to even be playing mature titles and should give all your mature rated titles to me.
