Michael Jackson Game Will Arrive: "Michael Loved Games"

Although we had heard that a new video game featuring Michael Jackson would release later this year, that report suddenly became clouded when the King of Pop passed away on June 25.

However, according to IndustryGamers citing multiple sources including MCV, Michael Jackson's production company (MJJ Productions) has already been hard at work on this game for "several months," and it even boasts some speech recordings from Jackson himself. An MJJ Productions spokesperson even said, "I am sure it will still be released. Michael loved games." We still have no idea what type of game this will be, despite the obvious suggestion that it'll follow in the footsteps of SingStar or Karaoke Revolution. But then again, it may be something sillier; it may be an action/adventure theme like we had with Michael Jackson's Moonwalker, although that does seem most unlikely. We have a feeling that absolutely anything with Jackson's name on it will be a hot commodity for at least the next few months, and when the holidays roll around, an MJ game might be a very popular item (regardless of how good it actually is). We really hope it'll be something decent; a title that Jackson's fans can really get behind.

Of course, you do realize that he isn't dead, right? He's gonna show up somewhere and moonwalk across the stage at exactly the right moment...I've spent time around PR people in the past, and I wouldn't put it past them. If you really think about it, it's the perfect solution to his current problems. But I don't mean to be disrespectful; I just wish he'd come back. R.I.P., MJ. :(
