Qore Episode 14 Boasts Assassin's Creed 2, Modern Warfare 2, More

We've always got you covered here at PSXE, but for the best in additional coverage and behind-the-scenes information, you can always turn to the latest Qore episode.

Qore kicks off its second year on the PlayStation Network and hostess Veronica Belmont returns to guide us through the latest in industry news, interviews, and general examination of the gaming culture. This new episode will focus heavily on the sequels; namely, the blockbusters that are set to assault store shelves later this year. First, Audrey Cleo takes you through the new storyline behind Assassin's Creed 2 (a game that wowed the crowd at Sony's E3 conference), and then, Infinity Ward talks about making Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 even better than the original; all you gotta do is add snowmobiles! No, really. Thirdly, you can check out Lost Planet 2, which is bound to appeal to all you huge mech lovers out there, and fourthly and lastly, you can learn more about Battlefield 1943, which is one of the best downloadable titles to ever hit the PlayStation Network. Also, if you haven't renewed your subscription from last year just yet, remember that there are certain incentives designed to make you come back for another season. For only $20, it's well worth the money, in our opinion.  And our opinion counts for something, don't it?

For full information on Qore Episode 14, visit the PlayStation Blog; the episode will be available to download some time later today (Thursday).

Bleh! Nothing this month in regards to Qore. I'm not buying either of those two blockbusters. It seems like I'm the only guy not excited for CoW:MW2 or AC2, though.

i'm not excited for mw2, it is over hyped, very few people play it for it's story and they just jump strait to multiplayer. cod4 was good but not all it's hyped up to be, as i have said before i will not purchase this title and will buy uncharted 2 instead. and i probaly won't buy ac2 either because i didn't like the first.

I often surprise people when I say that I'm most excited for Uncharted 2.
They inevitably ask "Even more excited than for Modern Warfare 2?" and I go, "Yep."
:p

I'm not excited for MW2 but I wanna see what AC2 can do.

LOL

And that's because you suck ffrulez ^_^
Joking (kinda). That rocket launcher thing is long gone though. People make matches all the time with it disallowed.

But I wouldn't play it for the single player mostly. It's all about multiplayer in CODs. Even if the single player is awesome (like COD:WaW, you eventually need to prove your actual FPS skill on real players ;)

Or just do the usual and master the single player 1st then stay online untill the you don't like the game anymore (like what I did with COD5) LOL.

P.S.

I'm probably going to play, rent or buy it and I'll be starting on Veteran again. You should try it too ^_^

Yhea, not interested in the Qore stuff... if you are prepare to hunt for the stuff you can get the same information on the net that you would typically find in Qore, unless it is very specific; something inside to do with Sony etc... a specific behind the scenes or interview. Yes, you may have access to some demo's, but I am prepared to wait for them to arrive on PSN or find footage on YouTube.com

Save money for the games :)

You may want to check with your internet service provider, my isp gives me 450mb a day during regular hours, but no threshhold penalties during the hours of 1:00 am - 6:00 am. You could also pause before exceeding your limit and resume the next day.

I don't subscribe to Qore, but I do download files over 1gb using the method described above.

yea im on 15GB a month.
that sounds like alot and well to me it is.
i dont know what the hell is going on but this month i have downloaded nothing, all ive done is check my emails and surf the web for say 2 hours per day.
my mum and dad the same.
and in 15 days we have chewed up 10GBs.
WTF.
i think optus my ISP is saying ive used more than what i have.
either that or some one is using my network but dad refuses to change the password.
dam old age it makes people bloody stubborn.

Assassins Creed 2 actually looks fun this time around, I hope they fixed the issues.

I'm getting it. I just hope there's not too much emphasis on "he can swim" because swimming in games sucks.

AC2 is a must buy for me, I had so much fun with AC by wondering around the city of Jerusalem and Damascus and overlook the grand city view from the top.
