Bioware Pokes Fun At MW2 Prestige Edition Unboxing
Infinity Ward turned a lot of heads when they officially revealed that unbelievable Prestige Edition for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, although its extravagance caught a bit of flack from gamers.
Well, developers are certainly allowed to poke fun at other developers, and this time, Bioware has decided to play the comedian role and release a special "unboxing" video of their own for the upcoming Dragon Age: Origins. You can view it over at Examiner.com, and it's absolutely worth seeing. At first, it actually appears to be legit but as things progress, hilarity ensues. Why more than one copy? Well, because you can never have enough dragons, of course! And the capper is when she finally unveils the Dragon Age sausage, from dwarven butcher shops; "what you do with it in the dark is your own business." HA! Well, you just had to assume that something like this would be coming along, although we're a little surprised to see it come from Bioware. Based on the games they make, one might consider the team to be a bit more on the serious side, but hey, all devs have to be somewhat playful, right? ...damn, the puns are getting worse.
Well, anyway, watch it and net yourself a few laughs. And don't take it personally, Modern Warfare 2 fans; we all have to laugh at ourselves every now and then. That Prestige Edition is a little over-the-top.
