LBP Game Of The Year Edition: $30 Of DLC Included
Maybe you only recently picked up the PlayStation 3, and you haven't reached LittleBigPlanet on your "catch-up list" just yet. Or maybe you simply passed on Media Molecule's gem last year 'cuz it looked too "cutesy" (silly you). But whatever the reason, if you don't own a copy of one of the most accomplished and innovative PS3 exclusives out there, you'll definitely want to look into the Game of the Year edition.
Now, as many of you know, there has been a continual - and much-appreciated - onslaught of extra downloadable content for this game, which is why everyone immediately wondered how much of it will be included in this new edition. Well, if the box art is any indication, there will be $30 worth of bonus DLC! Add the fact that the game will release with a cheaper price tag than the original only adds to the appeal. We're not sure which of the available DLC on the PSN will be featured in the Game of the Year Edition, but it certainly sounds like a hefty amount, and that oughta be good enough for those who have yet to toy around with SackBoy. We don't yet have a release date, but we'd like to think it'll make it out before the end of the year; it'd make for a perfect holiday gift for any new PS3 owner. There are just certain titles you must have in your collection, and if LittleBigPlanet doesn't qualify as one such title...well, you need to reassess your definition of "quality."
Oh, and let's not forget about LittleBigPlanet PSP, which should be ready to go in a few months time; it will feature some sort of "cross-communication" with the PS3 version, so there's yet another reason to have LBP at your disposal. We're all still SackBoy crazy!

Not everything is cutesy cutesy. Those who have played the game long enough realize that you can make it as scary and realistic as any "real life game."
Anyway, it's the best platformer since Crash Bandicoot. And we all know how awesome Crash Bandicoot was!
$30 worth of DLC is a lot...I have a lot of it, but I'm sure it's under #30.
PS: The more people you can play it with, the more fun. Believe it or not, this is one of the best party games of this generation.

Different publications/sites/organizations.
All it takes is one publication/site/organization to name a game GOTY for a publisher to call it such.
Every year there are multiple GOTY editions.
This year, there are LBP, Fallout 3, and Left 4 Dead GOTY editions just to name a few.
I wish there were more because they normally come with all the DLC available at a cheaper price (see LBP, Fallout 3, and Left 4 Dead).
