Army Of Two: The 40th Day Confirmed For January 12
The more titles that get pushed out of 2009, the more the first part of 2010 appears to be jammed with promising games.
According to GameSpot, EA Montreal has announced that Army of Two: The 40th Day will arrive for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PSP on January 12 in North America, and on January 8 in Europe. If you're not familiar, this is a direct sequel to the first Army of Two as you will once again guide the two bad boys, Salem and Rios, through a new adventure. This time, you'll be in Shanghai, China and of course, the emphasis will once again be on the co-op gameplay. If you choose to go online, you'll be able to experiment with four different modes, including Extraction, which is basically all about survival: one attempts to ward off an endless swarm of enemies while trying desperately to reach the extraction point. Although the first title had its fair share of issues, we have high hopes for the sequel as EA should've been able to work out the kinks. If not, well...there's at least one thing you should see.
If you didn't catch it last week, here's the ridiculous promotional video that should make you laugh. They could've done a lot more with the idea, though... Beat on that printer more!

only because its one of the 10 PS3 games that support offline co-op.
thats 1 thing sony need to get onto, every single 360 exclusive game i have played supports offline co-op, but haze and resistance FOM are the only exclusive i can thing of that support offline co-op.

I like the concept of this game and really hope that they improve on the second one but I'm going to be holding off before thinking of buying it. There's too many other great games out there (and more coming) to make this one a day one purchase.
