Robin Williams Talks Online Gaming
You know what's cool? Learning that one of the true geniuses of comedy is a definite gamer.
Long-time comedian and Academy Award-winning actor Robin Williams was a guest on "The Tonight Show with Conan 0'Brien" recently, and he took some time to talk about his online gaming experiences. Not surprisingly, he tosses in plenty of jokes to go along with it - he does this better than anyone - and we laughed at the idea of video game military veterans. "They're spawning everywhere!" HAha. Feel free to check out the relevant video clip and be prepared to smile; we think it's bad-ass that this guy plays online. Who wouldn't want to run into him on the battlefield? He'd have the unfair advantage; he'd make everyone laugh so hard he'd be able to mow us all down without much effort. We've also heard Williams has a thing for the Battlefield franchise and let's not forget that his daughter is named Zelda. Oh, there could be other reasons for that name, but it's apparently true that she was named after The Legend of Zelda. We've heard stories of other big Hollywood names being into gaming, but some of those are just bogus claims for the sake of publicity.
Williams sounds like a true-blue gamer. And if that's the case, we officially invite him to a match in any online game he chooses...maybe Killzone 2?

"It's 3am, you're pissing on a dumpster... Its Miller Time"
Eddie Murphy was one of the funniest Stand Up artists as well. He took his influence from Richard Prior (another groundbreaking comedian) and inspired many, including but not limited to, Chris Rock, another of the greater comedians of our generation. Just watch Raw and Delirious (prepare for VERY politically incorrect content) to understand how far he pushed comedy in his day.
Favourite Richard Prior Joke, that he made shortly after his return to Stand-Up following his caught-on-fire-freebasing-cocaine incident:
"When you're running down the street on fire, people get out of your way!"

Anyways, can we please stop this conversation now?
Edit: Robin is a very funny actor, but he is not 'the' pioneer of comedy. Although he is very good at making people laugh, and he is very nice.
I mean, he doesn't even have to say something funny, all he has to do is smile and viola! An entire audience bursts out with laughter!
After a while, Robin wont even have to do a funny dance or make a funny face, anyone who would dare to look at him would laugh.. But why would they laugh? Because in their minds, they would be imagining a funny movie that Robin starred in, and that alone would make them laugh.
It is a fact that it is easier to remember the good memories, rather than the bad. So if we can remember such movies as Popeye, Hook, Toys, Mrs. Doubtfire and Jumanji, which all starred Robin Williams, then the memory must have been a good one.
Again, Robin Williams is not the best comedian of all time, but is in the top 15!
But, as everyone knows, you cannot really have a solid argument on who is better, just as you cannot argue about what game is better, or what console is better, because everyone has their own opinion on what they like, and you cannot change that.
Me? I like Will Smith.

"were going to need a little wood for this fire, go chop down that tree, were going to need a whole tree for this fire"

But I think the bigger thing here to think about is not whether or not you like the actor/comedian, but that he is a 50+ year old Famous person who plays online video games.
It's promotion like that that helps get rid of the stereotype that video games are only for anti-social teenagers. It's a step in the right direction.

Hulu is only available in the USA!
I hope the video's on YouTube.
Oh and PSXE, you shouldn't use videos that aren't available for other countries, such as Canada!
The sad thing is; Canada is a part of North America, so why Hulu isn't available in Canada is plain out stupid!
First the video store on the PSN, then Netflix for the 360, now Hulu!?
That's pretty cool that Robin plays video games!
I thought I saw him playing Battlefield 1943 on the 360 one night, it even sounded like him, but I was thinking that it was next to impossible to actually be playing with him on the XBOX 360.. This article is now making me think that I was playing with him... I don't know... It's confusing..
Does anyone know his PSN ID?
But yeah, PSXE, you should really host some kind of match with him, on, let's say, Fat Princess?
I haven't played Killzon 2 for a long time.

more than likley im going to have to wait weeks longer than everyone else to get GOW3, AVP, Alien colonial marines, dantes inferno, mafia 2 because they will all get banned.
and god forbid if they get this internet filter in before march 2010 that may even block bringing said games in off ebay.
NOTHING! and i mean NOTHING! is stopping me from playing GOW3.
