Private And Public MAG Beta Details
We've been trying to locate more MAG beta information, and we've stumbled upon a few more details that will keep you up to speed.
According to TheGamerAccess, the private beta phase is currently under way (which we already knew) and it holds about 10,000 participants. This started this past week on August 17 and will run until September 7; it only features members of the "GAP & SCEE Beta Community," so if you don't qualify, you ain't gettin' in. The public beta is the one you should be interested in: this one starts on September 17 and while we already told you an annual Qore subscription should get you a spot, it's also open to "SCEE lottery winners, active forum members, and select media." Now, they'll expand this beta yet again in "mid-October," so you should have ample opportunity to land a position in the testing. After all, with a game that supports up to 256 players on one map (we still can't get over that), we figure Zipper Interactive is gonna need a lot of testers. There may be a few bugs that need to be worked out, ya know... Well, the more the merrier!
Like we said before, we'll try to see if we can nab a bunch of beta codes for our readers; if we do, we'll give 'em away post-haste, so stay tuned.

I think its just - quite simply - to have a very large war-like experience.
Maybe they actually thought to make it smaller or larger even, but the way they wanted to have their squads and such set up would work best at that number. Im no tech junkie... so i doubt i did any justice to what you wanted to know, but its just what i think.
Nice avitar btw

The game is huge and it is great because you depend on the other side of the map to do their job. If one side of the map is weak it becomes frustrating because helping can be a lengthy trip across the map.
You can only go to level fourty so choose your skills wisely. I made some mistake and do not see a way to create another caracter to do it right. One more thing I chose raven and can't change to the other team available Valor.
The game is a blast and I love being a squad leader, I know people get frustrated when their squad leader doesn't pull his weight. The satisfaction of calling in an air strike or calling out to have the team fix the Anti Air Gun is awesome. The squad leader really needs to be aware of the bigger picture because it is easy just to sit and defend your bunker the whole game.
It has some bugs but if your familiar with the SOCOM beta; it is nothing like that. That was a nightmare.
Currently there is only one type of mission unlocked with only two maps available. Since there are 8 squads on each side you can defend from 8 different positions which keep the game from getting stale.
I truly enjoy the game and look forward to the real deal.
Look for me in-game.
