GameStop Assigns FFXIII A June 21, 2010 US Launch Date
Square-Enix still promises to release Final Fantasy XIII in Japan before 2009 is out, but North American gamers can only guesstimate concerning their 2010 launch.
Previously, we had heard that the localization process might not be so lengthy for this particular title, and we'd get it some time in the spring. But Square-Enix hasn't deigned to offer up a date, which means we're all still floundering about in the dark, hoping we don't have to wait almost a full year. Well, GameStop certainly thinks we won't have to: it's not exactly spring, but it's close, as you can see here. If this date is accurate, it means FFXIII will be on store shelves on June 22, 2010, and there's a good chance this is a bit more than your standard placeholder date. First of all, it's not on the first of the month and secondly, it's mere days after the conclusion of E3...and that'd be some damn good timing. Oh, and you don't normally have to worry about other blockbuster titles to compete against in the month of June, so perhaps Square-Enix is lining this one up nicely for the US market.
We'll have to see if Square-Enix confirms or denies this date at the Tokyo Game Show, which kicks off in less than a month. We anticipate a great number of big announcements at that event...

Anyway, Demon's Soooooooooooooul for me
I've actually lost interest in this FF
The character designs are so bad, IMO (remember this is MY OPINION). Have never seen such horrible FF character designs ever. Lightning is the only good one I see.
The characters might have a good story, that's the only thing which can save them, for me.

Limited, how do I get all my data transfered from my fat PS3 to my Slim? I tried the back up and restore function. No go. When restoring the data on the Slim it said I can't use a back up file made on one system for another. Am I gonna have to reinstall and redownload everything again the loooooong way?
If that's the case that's gonna blow. Crapcom locks all their save data. KZ2 data is locked too.

BTW with my first PS3 I had a major save game file issue but treated it as a reason to replay some games.

Yeah, I think the system backup utility is kinda crap when it comes to protected material such as game installs and media, and it prevents you from restoring a backup from one system onto another system.
I think you can still transfer the game saves, but you will need to manually copy the game save files via a USB drive. As long as your user on the new PS3 has the same local profile name and PSN id, your locked game saves will transfer.
As you say though, you'll have to re-download all your downloaded content and re-install. At least your game saves will work, so you don't have to replay the games...I know that's not much help, sorry. Definitely an opportunity for Sony to refine the backup utility.

Though to be honest as bad as Tekken 6, i was expecting that to be released on 1st year of the PS3. but its only just being released now. The game looks absurd anyway, a robot girl who can take off her head, place it in the hands of the oppponent and explode....*sighs*
