Madden NFL 10 Online Numbers Go Through The Roof
We all know that Madden NFL 10 has already sold about a gajillion copies (that's an actual number now, by the way). But perhaps what's more telling in this new generation is just how many people have flocked to indulge in some online pigskin fun.
According to statistics located by Koku Gamer, the latest Madden installment has reached several online multiplayer milestones. Firstly, EA Sports boss Peter Moore has revealed that they've already managed to get 100,000 players online at once, which Moore reminds us is many more than can fit into an NFL stadium. Furthermore, in the opening week alone, there were 5.6 million matches played online, which Moore says "is the equivalent of over 21,000 NFL regular seasons." And while we know that number likely includes all the games that were merely started but never completed, it's still pretty damn impressive. As a side note, Moore said he's happy with the recent PS3 price cut, just because "we know titles like Madden and NCAA Football have always had a very strong base of fans on Sony hardware." ...not like Madden needs more help in the sales department, but even so, a lower price point on PS3 hardware benefits everyone.
So anyway, if you haven't yet gone online with Madden NFL 10, you're apparently missing out. Don't you want to get involved in one of the millions of matches...?

i liked wolfenstien it was a good game, a little buggy (whats with raven software and buggy games, there almost as bad as pandemic) but the weapons were really cool and there was a good variety of enemies.
the attention to detail with fire was AMAZING! ive never played a game where if a enemy catches fire, he can catch others on fire or explode a flammable canister, and there was fire damage to their body, you could see there flesh burnt off.
that wowed me, ive never played a game that does that, its amazing its the little things that wow you.
games dont need to do something big and drastic to be unique and good, just something small like fire effects.
that BS review CVG gave it was a load of crap!
they gave it a 6 which is way to low, id give it at least a 7.6.
there major complaint with the game was its old....
WELL HELLO IT IS A WOLFENSTINE GAME BASED IN WW2 WITH THE NAZIS, last time i checked WW2 is old...............
yea who would of thought it would feel old, roll.
seriously im starting to think reviewers are getting dumber and dumber by the day, with some of the statements ive heard.

I've owned madden since '97, whats ur point?
and you must be out of ur mind to say there is no difference btwn 02 and 09
Highlight stick (not in 02)
pro tak (not in 02)
pocket presence (not in 02)
defensive/offensive playmaker (not in 02)
the list goes on...Do yourself a favor and go play madden 02 and see how different it is. Why don't you go ahead and tell me what is exactly the same from 02 and 09.
Why do you think so many people complain ever since madden came on next gen?????

Madden hasn't changed much since the 16-bit days and since the early 1990s Madden has in theory been the same exact game and with no competition to push EA to innovate the game we'll continue to get the rehash !
EA unfortunately uses the same business model as other U.S. businesses in that they've found something that generates money without having to do much to make it better and so they stick with it much like the auto industry had done for well over 70 years and then boom the imports started creaming them and they waited too long and now they've been playing catch up since the 1980s !
But since Madden is the only licensed football game, you have to buy it if you want to play football !
