Valkyria Puzzle Solution: "What Goes Around Comes Around"
Sega should've known they needed a more complicated code, 'cuz gamers are good at solving those little puzzles and riddles designed to hide new announcements.
Well, it's not a new announcement, but the fill-in-the-blank puzzle Sega posted at the Valkyria Chronicles Twitter page has been solved. Heck, it was solved hours after it was posted, but it's not really helping anyone because the answer could mean anything: "what goes around comes around." All Sega would say is we should continue to "ponder the phrase" but if they don't make something clear soon, the fans are gonna start getting antsy. Now, PlayStation 3 owners are all hoping the news involves a new VC title for the PS3; the sequel was revealed some time ago, but it's coming exclusively to the PSP. Sega said they did this to expand the audience but in our minds, selecting only the PSP doesn't "expand" the audience; it shifts the audience. If you want to "expand" it, you have to include the system the game first appeared on, yes? We really don't know what "what goes around comes around means" but we know what the fans want, and we know it includes some fresh strategy love for the PS3.
The original Valkyria Chronicles remains one of the most critically acclaimed and beloved PS3 exclusives to date...Sega can't possibly ignore that fact, can they?

Or are they possibly sending a message to some other publishers about lack-luster support for the PS3/PSP?
That said, I'd think it has something to do with the game. Could we see the return of a character from VC? Someone out for revenge?

Seriously, though, VC2 on the PSP WOULD expand the audience in Japan where multiple surveys show more people play the PSP and DS than they do home consoles. It has something to do with all those people who ride the trains in Japan.
Hell, look at the top seller lists in Japan every month: DS and PSP games account for the majority of those lists.

I say what they mean is, that it'll have some sorta connectivity with the original PS3 Valkyria Chronicles. Judging by the gameplay, it's almost the same. There weren't much improvements needed for the near perfect game. I'm not surprised that some update to the PS3 VC1 can connect to the PSP VC2.
