Ninja Theory's New Project Uses Unreal Engine 3.0?
We haven't heard much about Ninja Theory's new project but as time rolls onward, we begin to pick up a few details here and there.
Understandably, a lot of you are hoping for a sequel to Heavenly Sword, one of the first high-quality exclusive titles for the PlayStation 3. To this day, it remains one of PSXE's favorites; the cinematography, choreography, and fantastic voice acting (not to mention the near-perfect lip syncing between voice and animation) really sold us. The game itself was pretty damn good, too. However, new artistry that has been floating around tells us Ninja Theory's new project certainly isn't Heavenly Sword 2, as the artwork contains more of a gritty, hardcore theme similar to that of Gears of War. Now, a European source has apparently confirmed that this mystery project utilizes the popular "UE3" (Unreal Engine 3), which should come as good news to all you tech-savvy gamers out there. A light sprinkling of details surfaced at GamesCom 2009 last month but this is about all we know right now; we expect more info to arrive in the very near future, though. As for Heavenly Sword 2, there is speculation that another studio is currently working on it, which always makes us skeptical.
Perhaps Ninja Theory will officially lift the lid on their game at the Tokyo Game Show but until then, we'll have to track both that and the possibility of a sequel from...well, someone else.

Such a great storyline and character development
For me it was all 'bout Kai, that babe was freaking awesome, still my favorite next-gen character, period
As for Unreal Engine, should be interesting, it's probably easier to do multiplatform games with that, meh, since that what their next game will be
I hope SCEE puts MediaMolecule in charge of Heavenly Sword 2, would be a big surprise, but a great one!

i would like to see some games take up crytek and use the new cry engine 3 instead of the UE.
fund crytek guys, we all know there going to need as much cash as they can get for crysis 2 its going to be off the hook.
no matter what year it comes out, it will be GOTY, guaranteed.
one thing i would love to see, doubt it would happen but.
half life 2 epp 3, crysis 2, RAGE and diablo 3 came out in the same year.
man now that would be a battle of the ages, 4 of the best known PC developed dukeing it out.
LLLLLLLLETS GET READY TO RRRRRRRRUMBLE....DING!

batman AA has been in development for ages and even that uses UE3.5 thats why the game looks so dam good.
i doubt we will see many more games running on UE3 they will all be running on UE3.5 and UE4 is suppose to be completed by late 2010 if i memory serves me.
thats why i also cant see a gears of war 3 coming out till 2011 since they wont release it on UE3.5 makes no seance, might as well finish your engine than create the game off that.

Too short
No difficulty choice
No trophies
Auto-blocking mechanic
As for the Unreal Engine 3.0, from what I've observed, they're going multiplat on their new game, so obviously they need to *cough cough *H1N1 COUGH cater to the 360 side. You see? Unless you want Heavenly Sword Engine to be running on that console......
