Amazon Offering PS3-Related Sales

We do what we can to save you money; when significant sales come along, we want you to have the opportunity to take advantage of deals (especially if they're short-lived).

You already know about the Best Buy deal where you can buy one PS3 game at full price and get a second at 50% off. This deal only runs through Saturday, and if you want to do some more shopping this week, you should check Amazon as well: they're letting you pre-order the God of War Collection for the slightly cheaper price of $36.99 (original retail is $39.99). This one is a must for just about everyone; this includes the first two GoW titles reworked in high definition plus the inclusion of Trophies. Furthermore, they're offering up a good deal on the Uncharted 160GB PS3 bundle; that has dropped $50 down to $349.99. If you need a new controller, you can grab the Dual Shock 3 for only $42.99, which is another decent deal. If you're not yet a PS3 owner, you'll likely want all three of these items and you can save a big chunk of change if you act now.

You may see more sales concerning the older PS3 models, too, so we'll keep an eye out. Everyone's going to need a little extra cash for the holidays, right?

Oh well! One of my friends was gonna splurge and buy a new PS3 Slim this past weekend, but he didn't know about the lack of PS2-compatibility and it just wasn't worth it to him. Maybe a good bundle this holiday season will entice him again.

BTW, what's a MAG beta code from PAX worth? ;-)

It's going to be a hectic second week of November for me. God of War comes out on the 10th and Modern Warfare 2 comes out on the 11th. Oh, looks like it'll be an expensive second week of November, too.

not to sound rude but amazon has deals like this everyday. they have GT5 for $56, they have GT PSP for $38, NFS Shift for $56, Batman AA for $52, LBP for $44 and GoW III for $56. they have deals like this daily and if you pre-order you get the game on release day (sometimes early as its happend twice for me and once for my friend)
