SCEA Prepping "AAA FPS" Exclusive For PlayStation 3?
You know what we need? Another totally bad-ass FPS like Killzone 2. ...oh, knock it off, FPS haters; I'm just trying to get people psyched for this mystery project.
As found by GameGuru, it seems that SCEA Outsource and Project Manager Su-Cheng Wu's LinkedIn profile has spilled the beans on a hot new FPS exclusively for the PlayStation 3. If you look under "Currently" (i.e., what he is currently doing in the workplace), it says: "Producing all human character faces for a coming soon AAA FPS PS3 title." We have no idea what this might be, but we immediately return our thoughts to the stellar Killzone 2, which launched earlier this year to widespread critical acclaim and far-reaching gamer popularity. It was a step forward in the world of FPSs and we'd love to see Sony take another step and solidify the PS3's position as the leader of the genre. Of course, there have been plenty of promising FPSs this generation that have fallen well short of expectations ('cough' Haze 'cough'), so there's no guarantee that this project will be another KZ2. We're just being hopeful and optimistic, if you don't mind.
So in the future, we'll see if we can locate any information on this mystery "AAA FPS" that is currently in development.

Modern 3D gaming was pioneered by FPSers. Does all this FPS hate have to do with the fact that the wretched 360's most popular game is a FPS? Come on guys, a good FPS is a blast!...literally.

The old RPG genre is full of poorly written, laughably voice acted crap, that are FF and Pokemon wannabes that get mediocre reviews at best.
Don't get me wrong, all game genres have their duds and everyone is allowed to have their preferences. It just seems unfair to knock all FPSs just for being what they are.

I'm flexible, I enjoy both. Some games do belong in FPS mode (i.e.: Red Faction). Damn the guy who decided to change the game. Ruined it for me. I remember when the Geo-Mod first came out. It was a game changer, now it's just like every other destructible enviro game. See Far Cry 2, which I loved.

I would definitely check them out with mouse and keyboard support. Besides that issue I just love the community that comes with a FPS on a PC (mods, user maps, amount of servers).
Ben is going to have his way with me, I know I know using a game pad is harder to master than a keyboard/mouse, I'm a child of the 80s/early 90s sorry!

"Producing all human character faces for a coming soon AAA FPS PS3 title."
So, Su-Cheng is in charge of producing all the "human character faces" in the game. If the game contained *only* human characters, you wouldn't make that statement.
Therefore, there are certainly non-human characters in the game as well. (like pretty much all FPSes in the world)
Think along the lines of Resistance, etc.
Any guesses?

They're killing the industry, they should relax a bit with all these exclusives(sarcasm)
I'm calling the cops, this a straight homicide on Xbox 360 and Wii.
