Arkham Asylum Gets Two DLC Packs In Two Weeks
It's one of the best games of 2009 and those of you who have recently completed Batman: Arkham Asylum are likely lying in wait for the upcoming downloadable content. After all, who wants such an awesome game to end?
Well, Eidos has two DLC packs planned for release and you won't have to wait long for either. The first pack is called "Insane Night" and is scheduled to hit both the PSN and Xbox Live Marketplace this week (September 17). This extra bit of content will let you battle hordes of escaped maniacs from the Asylum, and you'll also get a chance to try out the brand new Nocturnal Hunter challenge. This will require a bit of stealth as you'll team up with Bats and stick to the shadows on the roofs of the Asylum to remain hidden throughout. The second pack is "Prey in the Darkness" and is slated for the following week; September 24. We don't have exact details on this one just yet but you can be assured that everything will be brand new; they're not simply re-releasing the pre-order exclusive DLC, like "Dem Bones" and "Crime Alley." Rocksteady Studios has really given us one hell of a gem, and to have the benefit of DLC so soon after the launch is an added feather in their cap. People will still be playing this one during the holiday rush!
Now, Rocksteady just needs to focus their attention on a sequel. Or maybe they can pick another superhero who hasn't fared well in the video game realm. Like Superman.

The fighting rooms are about rhythm and evasion. You are invulnerable while leaping away or vaulting off a henchman's shoulders. When surrounded just vault or leap away and attack from the outside. A single leap does not interrupt a combo, nor multiple shoulder vaults (handy for avoiding charging titans, too). Stuns are also good for regaining composure during a hectic spot.

fooking bloody hell poison ivy is hard.
all those walkthroughs saying to ignore the bad guys and focus on ivy because her vines will kill them.
BS.
her vines do jack tripe, i honestly ran around dodging their attacks and time after time they would get caught in ivys vines and hop back up and attack me again.
you have to constantly dodge her attacks, dodge your enemys attacks and attack them at the same time.
anything else you want to chuck on my plate?
might as well ask me to take over the world with a bloomin toothpick.
in fact that would probably be easier.

Remember that the vines will only hurt you, not the thugs. dodge, attack and counter. just toss a few quick batarangs in the mix as well and you should get through fine.

the only hard part is killing her henchmen.
once their gone its easy, i found using the multiple batwrangs helped when the vines are growing than use quick tap L1 when the orbs come out.
but im giving this a break in definitely, uncharted 2 beta is soaking up all my time.
